it would take me all the time in the world to get you to acknowledge my intention
you think the fouled plan is a representation of my mind and thoughts
yet it, in actuality, it is the smallest portion I had to offer
I knew that you would judge me on something so small, it could barely be perceived
you manage to pick out the flaws of this misguided plan and hold me accountable for it
yet somehow, you don't realize that you were the one to put it in action
you do not realize that you and your actions set this plan down the wrong path
you let it rip out your heart and play with it like a toy
I only mentioned it as an idea but you, you followed through
so do not blame me for playing with the idea of love
even I knew it wouldn't work out, and that is why, in my mind, it stayed an idea
you messed up your own life, and you threw yourself into the dark pit of action
because you wanted to love so bad, you didn't care about the outcome
