I woke up early today, and I could smell the waffles getting ready downstairs. My dad has started to practice baking a lot after my mom passed away. I opened the curtains and saw a mover man placing a "sold" sign in front of the house next door. I wonder who will be moving there.. I put my slippers on and walked downstairs.
I didint see my dad around so I just grabbed the warm plate of waffles from the kitchen table and sat on the couch. Before I could turn the tv on my dad walks in looking quite happy: Dad: Sophie! Don't you want to come greet our new neighbors! They just moved in. You could go ask if they need any help.. Me: Yea I guess, but hold on a second and let me finish my breakfast... Dad: Sure thing honey. Wht do you think of the waffles by the way? Your mom used to make delicious waffles.. Me: These are really good too. Dad: Good to hear. I'll see you in the front yard and we'll greet the neighbors togetther. I heard the boy was the same age as you.. Dad smiled quickly and let me eat the rest of my waffles..
A bit later after Im done eating my breakfast and decided what to wear I make my way to the front yard, where I see my dad speaking to a woman next to a moving van. Dad: Sophie come say hi! I walk to my dad and shake the womans hand. Dad: This is my daughter Sophie. Me: Hi! c: Women: Nice to meet you Sophie! I actually have a son, who's the same age as you! Her smile was kind and wide. Women: Chase, can you show your neighbor around our house please! A voice behind the van: Hold on! While nervously fixing my hair I feel a hand on my shoulder. I turn around to find tall guy I recognized.

He smiles and his eyes widen when our eyes meet. Chase: Hi nice to meet you! Im Chase. You must be Sophie. Me: Um- Yea Im Sophie. Nice to meet you too. I smile back and fix my hair behind my ear. My heart is beating super fast and Im just staring at him and his cute smile- Chase: There is not much to show you in our house becouse we haven't got all the funiture in yet, but this shall be an early private tour then. He grabs me pulling me past my dad, and then he leads me into their house.
