Mooncrest Re-write

Chapter 7

A week and a half later Ratchet and I had fixed Ben's legs and now we were all parked in a spot that overlooked the city Sam and Mikaela lived in. Sam and Mikaela were currently making out on Jazz's hood. I smiled and shook my head. I was on the hood of my alt mode next to Ben looking at the sun as it sets. Optimus came and stood next to us as he relayed a message.

"With the All Spark gone, we cannot return life to our planet. And fate has yielded its reward, a new world to call home. We live among its people now, hiding in plain sight, but watching over them in secret, waiting, protecting. I have witnessed their capacity for courage. And though we are worlds apart, like us, there's more to them than meets the eye. I am Optimus Prime and I send this message to any surviving Autobots taking refuge among the stars. We are here. We are waiting."

We continued to sit there and watch the sunset. Then I decided I needed to tell everyone about the Allspark and Carrier. I called everyone over. They all gathered around me in their holoforms and waited for what I had to say.

"I'm glad we all made it out alive. I don't know what I would do If I had lost anyone. But there is something I need to tell you all. And please do not think I'm lying when I tell you, I am telling the complete truth I also have Ben to verify what I'm about to say." I started.

"Viridi. It's ok. We will believe you." Optimus said.

"Thanks, Optimus. During the final battle, something happened. I was just about to start fighting Megatron when I felt a weird feeling come over me. Everything slowed down before coming to a stop. I looked around. Ben was standing next to me. We looked ahead of us and saw a white light and saw a figure emerging from the light. We started to freak out not knowing what was going on but she reassured us." I started.

"She?" Optimus asked.

"Yes, I'll get to her. She assured us and she knew our names. I asked her and..."

"And how did she know your name?" Sam asked.

"She said that it only seemed right to know the name of her son and daughter," I said.

Everyone froze and stared.

"You talked to Mooncrest?" Optimus asked.

"Yeah. She told me to tell you that she loves you, all of you." I told them.

"Continue on Viridi," Optimus said.

"After we figured out who she was, she told me a choice needed to be made. A choice to either put the Allspark in Optimus's Chest or to put it somewhere else. I figured she meant Megatron and I was right. Then she said she needed to ask me something. She asked if I would accept the energy of the Allspark and become its new vessel." I told them.

They all looked at me in shock as I continued.

"She told me that the all spark would need a new place to reside once the cube was destroyed. She said if I accepted my powers would amplify and I would have the powers of the Allspark. Ben asked her what would happen if I declined. She said she didn't know. I asked her, why me? What made me so special? Again she said she didn't know and said that I would have asked the Allspark, which I haven't done yet if I choose to accept it. I thought about so many things before I made my decision." I continued

"What did you pick?" Ironhide asked.

"I expected," I said. "As soon as I said it a blue light flashed and was gone in seconds she told me that the Allspark had given me it's power but had left enough to destroy Megatron."

"What happened next?" Optimus asked.

"She hugged me then asked me to do one more thing for her. She said to say hello to all of you." I finished.

"She did?" Ratchet asked.

"Yeah," I said as tears welled up in my eyes.

"Is there anything else Vira?" Optimus asked.

"Yes. Before she went into the light I stopped her and asked her a very important question. I asked her if there was any way she could come back to life. She said she didn't know. I asked her if I ever found away, would she come back?" I said "She looked down before looking at all of you. Finally stopped to look at Optimus and Megatron. Ben told her she wouldn't have to deal with Megatron. She said,'' true." I said.

"What did she decide?" Optimus asked.

I smiled and said, "She said yes even if it was for one day she would." Tears fell from my eyes as I continued "I then made a promise that I would look. She said thank you before she smiled again and walked back into the light. As the light vanished Ben went back to his body and everything speed back up." I finished.

Everyone stood around me in silence processing everything. I then knew I had to break the news of me and Ben having to leave them.

"Something is troubling you Viridi, Bumblebee. What is it?" Optimus asked.

"Our two weeks are almost up. We need to go back." Ben told them.

They all sat there in silence.

"We'll miss you all but we miss Tony and Jarvis and Happy and our mom," I said without realizing what I said.

"MOM!?" Everyone yelled.

Ben and I winced and I said "Oops. Yes, mom. Her name is Shannon Hardwin. She took us in when we made it to America. She's the reason I found Tony." I explained to them.

"Does she know?" Optimus asked.

"Yes. She's also the reason we're not dead." I said.

"When can we meet her?" Optimus asked.

Ben, and I looked up in shock before smiling "How about tomorrow. If we leave now we can get there by tomorrow afternoon." Ben said getting all giddy.

"Tomorrow is perfect." Optimus smiled.

Ratchet and Ironhide agreed but Jazz said "Maybe next time. Can't leave Sammy boy."

I smiled and said, "That's understandable."

"We'll see you soon man," Ben said as they bro hugged.

I got up and hugged him before Ben and I got in our alts and led the rest back to Malibu to introduce them to our mom.

: Do you think we should call Mom and tell here were coming to see her with guest's?: I asked.

: We could just show up. She does love surprises.: He said.

: True but Mom doesn't like a surprise when new people are involved. You know first impressions are important to her.: I said.

: True. Do you want me to do it or do you want to do it?: He asked.

: I'll do it.: I said before starting to call her.

This was going to be a lot to explain.
