Dedicate

You're over there.

And I'm over here.

You're fast asleep,

Gliding a ship

Atop a calm sea

Lulled by the cadence of her voice

And the diamonds that shine out of her eyes.

I'm craving

The touch of a ghost at 3am

Songs played on Tuesday afternoon

Swollen with abandon love

Disquised goodbyes exchanged to eachother

From when time was blind.

I put my pencil down,

Took a deep breath

And asked for the last time

Why I am dedicating so many words,

To someone who'll never dedicate a singe thing to me?
