Katherine Richardson, daughter of the famous basketball player Jason Richardson. Katherine and Zac were best friends since preschool. They were inseparable. They were never popular, but as long as they had each other they were happy. In the 4th grade, Katherine developed feelings for Zac, but decided to keep it to herself. One day as they got older, Zac got accepted on the basketball team. He became popular because of it.
After Zac became popular, he forgot all about Katherine, to the point where they drifted apart. A few years later when she was in middle school, Katherine 's parents had another child.
A healthy baby girl named Zoey. Katherine couldn't stand her. They could never get along. Katherine thought about Zac day and night. She could never get him out of her head. She made a new friend who she eventually became close to and her name was Stella Milan.
Years later, senior year came, she wondered how the last year of highschool would be for her.
