Jungkook placed his brewed Americano on the glass table, his eyes closing as he inhaled a deep breath. Last night, he dreamt it again, the dream that will ruin him, day by day.
He couldn't call it a blessing yet he could not call it a curse, it was just a bizarre supernatural ability that accompanies him through the glimmering stars.
The truth was still hidden, from his peers, from his classmates, from his fiance, from everyone. Nobody wanted a less-abled heir, at least his family doesn't, which is why every rendezvous is hell to him.
"Stop staring at empty places, it makes me think you can see ghosts,"
Jungkook smiled at the arms hugging him from behind.
"It's better to stare at empty spaces rather than to stare at empty hearts, Agassi" he muttered offering a seat to his younger sister.
"Aish, does Huang Min still mean a joke to you Oppa? We've been a couple for 3 years, which is a pretty long time considering we are both busy celebrities," June-ah raised one eyebrow, taking her shades off.
Jungkook gave a nod, making him receive a pull in the ear.
"June-ah! Aish, jinja!"
"Oppa, you see, Huang Min isn't a joke nor is he suppose to be a joke, to you or to anybody, he loves me and you'll love him too, arasso?" the girl's eyes shot a sharp gaze at her brother.
"A-ah, a-rasso," Jungkook squealed in pain.
The bodyguards chuckled lightly, if it was any other girl doing this to their master, she wouldn't have another chance at breathing.
"Thank you, now what was I going to do, ah! Oppa, here are some gifts I bought you on my trip to London, I know Burberry isn't something I can gift since you are incredible at buying all their stocks, therefore I've bought things that are a little less exclusive yet still pleasing to the eye." June-ah placed gift bags on the glass coffee table in front of them.
Jungkook stared at the gifts she bought, there were three, one was in a textured paper bag, one was in a ribbon-tied box and the other was in a large velvet bag. He sighed, looking at them, reaching out to touch each gift.
June-ah took out another gift bag, it was a Paul Smith haul bag.
"Oppa, I found that you don't try colours other than blue for your Saturday sleepwear, however, I want you to try out this vibrant orange hoodie I picked at Paul Smith's boutique. But don't worry, I've also picked a navy blue sweater if you refuse to accept the orange one," June-ah smiled sweetly, unfolding the orange hoodie.
Jungkook pursed his lips sternly, he looked at June-ah, defying a deathly gaze. He looked away, closing his eyes, biting his lips. His hands managed to examine the Asprey watch, caressing and following its shape with his fingers.
