Paintbrush hits the canvas violently leaving strokes of red in its path. Teeth gritted and eyes intense Nicklaus Mikaelson completes his latest work of art. As he stands back to admire it the ground is suddenly trembling with enough force even him, an Original hybrid stumbling.
"What the hell?!" He growls before using his supernatural hearing. Someone is in his house. He runs to the fountain meeting his siblings at the same time
"Someone is here" he informs them. His oldest brother grumbles as he tries to stand his ground
"And obviously got some bloody stick up their ass" his beautiful youngest sister scowls.
"Out with it then!" She yells in annoyance
On cue the doors blow open and aliyanna struts in wearing tight mini shorts and a short crop top and combat boots as she walks in the earthquake stops
"My apologies dear friends" her eyes fall on Freya as she stops in front of them "and their sister" elijahs jaw drops staring at her
"Aliyana?" He questions looking at her in shock. Klaus scowls and tries to step forward and grunts when he can't
"Another enemy back from our past. How original" Aliyana rolls her eyes and waves her hand forcing the original family into seats
"Harsh words Nikky as I remember we were best of friends. Far from enemy's" she tuts in disappointment. Freya frowns trying and failing to use her powers
"Someone tell me who this is?" Rebecca goes to talk but she is silenced with yet another wave of her hand
"Actually I would like to explain. My way" Aliyana summons a chair to sit in and the earthquake stops "Please excuse the trembles but as you know I like to make an entrance" she waves her hand again and the siblings start seeing images
"I was born over a thousand years ago. Outside a tiny village I believe is now named Mystic Falls. I moved there at the age of 18 after my village was attacked." her sweet guiding voice shows them through the memories. The first is of her and a women with blonde hair, and a younger girl holding the hand of a toddler. They all looked familiar to Klaus Elijah and Rebekka. They curtesy politely to a large family consisting of three of the four siblings that sat in front her in the present.
"I'll make this quick for all of you who know the story. But for Freya I continue"
Next is the image of Them all talking "Nikky and i quickly became friends. Much to the annoyance of Kol" shows an angry Kol scowling at them from beside a tree
"Who was used to getting all the female attention" the next memory she shows them is her and Kol laughing
"be courted me. And we were to marry" she shows them Kol all dressed up in the finest attire of the period down on one knee smiling his charming charismatic smile up at her with a beautiful ring in his hand and Aliyana nodding and jumping on him. "
In the next couple of days my dress was made and we were almost ready but then tradgety struck" she then shows them Kol holding her in his arms as they both sob looking over a newly dug grave and the work 'Hendrik' carved into a tree above it
"Hendrik died" she sighs "and your mother deviced a plan"
"And you left him... and us" Klaus mutters breaking them out of their trace to look at current day aliyana standing over them looking upset. Around her neck just under the new scar around her neck is a rope with the ring on it "Thats what she told you. I was never part of her plan" she sighs and takes them back to the memories.
She's standing in an old hut in a beautiful white dress sighing admiring herself in the mirror sadly. As Ester walks in the voices of the memories come along with it
"You would have been a beautiful bride" Esther says letting her presence be known. Aliyana turns around and wipes her tears "Hendrik said he wanted to be the first to see me in my wedding dress. I guess that's not going to happen" she tucks a piece of hair behind her hair and her sad expression turns to concern
"What do you mean would have? We will get married eventually. Just not now" she says referring to her and Kol. Ester sighs walking closer
"You see my dear, I need to protect my children and the path I have chosen for them does not involve you" As Aliyana looks back into Esthers eyes her eyes full with fear and panic. She slowly puts her hand behind her back and waves it slowly, unbeknownst to Esther
"I.. I'm sorry?" She asks waving her hand more frantically and breathing heavily. Ester laughs softly
"Dear child if you are around my son will not become who he needs to be. So you must be gone." As she raises her hand Aliyana falls to her knees pleading with her as her hand goes quicker. She was trying to stall to finish her spell.
"Please ester I'm pregnant!" Tears stream down her face and Esther stops momentarily and casts another spell which forms two gold orbs on Aliyanas stomach.
"See! I just found out. Please Esther Kol needs to know. The kids need their father. Kol can't loose anyone else he loves" as she talks her hand stops and the orbs disappear and Esther scowls
"Where did they go?" She questions angrily "Are you not pregnant?!" Aliyana stands up still upset but more steady
"I am, I was" she sighs wiping her eyes "I knew you were rotten the moment I met you. You were about to kill them and me. Now it's just me" Esther looks around angrily and waves her hand slitting Aliyanas throat. She falls to the ground and blood spits from her neck.
The scene cuts to a foggy memory in the middle of the woods. Aliyana is in her white dress looking around frantic. She then spots a shallow grave below her and she sighs realising its her body. Her eyes then widen "Kol!" She starts running through the trees not leaving a footprint in her wake. She gets to the outside of a little hut and sees Kol sitting on the ground crying softly
"Kol" she says softly but he doesn't move. Doesn't react. She goes to touch him but her hand goes through and she looks miserable "oh Kol. I'm sorry So sorry" she sits beside him as Esther walks out the door and kneels beside him "Kol sweetheart?" Kol looks up with a tree stained face "Tell me again. Tell me how this has happened. I..." he sighs "I don't understand" Esther takes his hand and helps him up
"I caught her running out of town. Said she couldn't do it. She left you Kol. She's not returning" Kol nods looking heartbroken and Aliyana scowls standing up "bitch!" She yells on dead ears
"But now my boy with your new status, vampire. You will live forever, find a beautiful girl... or 10" she chuckles roughing his hair "All the women you want" Kol shakes his head "But my powers. I'm nothing without them mother!" He cries. Esther snaps "Thats enough Kol! I have enough to deal with without your sobs" Kol quickly stops crying and looks up, his eyes filled with rage
"Your right. I'm stronger. I don't need her. I'm powerful. I can do whatever I want" he sniffs the air and veins form around his eyes "And right now I want to eat" The rest of the words are muffled as a voice over the top yells "Aliyana! Aliyana! Return!"
She's suddenly ripped back through the woods to her body. There stands a girl about her age. Blonde and beautiful. "Brinley" she sobs and hugs her friend "D-did my spell work?" Brinley nods sombrely
"The children are inside my sister. She can carry them to term" Aliyana shakes her head frantically pulling away
"No. They cannot be born. Kol is mad he's mad!" She exclaims "He isn't ready I fear his temper. They cannot be born!!" Brinley hugs her again
"Calm down my sister. I shall take care of it" Aliyana looks exhausted
"How?" She pulls back looks sadly at her grave and sits beside it "Kol is technically dead I'm dead. My children will never know their family" Brinley sits beside her and takes her hand
"I'll do another spell. They can live within one of our coven for generations until a time Kol is ready for them. We will monitor and perform the spell when we think he's ready. From my sister to her daughter and onwards until he is ready they will carry the babies. Our coven will protect them" Aliyana wipes her eyes "I can't ask you all that" Brinley shushes her before she can continue "You saved us from Cenric. We will do this. And at the time Kol is ready we will bring you back too" Aliyana takes a moment and slowly nods
"Don't worry about me just get the twins to Kol. Please he needs them. He is cursed to live for eternity but I shall not let him live it alone. Please"
The visions stop and everyone cuts back to reality. A tear trails down Aliyanas cheek
"So that's the my story " a surge goes through and hits the siblings and they are all free to stand. Klaus slowly stands
"You...you're pregnant?" He asks softly and Aliyana nods sadly
"With Kols kids" Rebekah is next to stand angrily "What the hell is with all the restraints?!"
Aliyana sighs
"That's the other thing.. do you remember Kol and I back then? When we were both witches" Elijahs eyes widen in realisation and he stands up
"Witches.. powerful" Klaus looks worried
"The most powerful" Aliyana nods
"And the babies" she is cut off by Freya "Are powerful" Aliyana nods solemnly "And can't always control it. If they feel I'm in danger they intervene" Klaus is silent looking deep in thought and shock. Aliyana slowly walks over to him in her usual seductive manor and stands in front of him looking up at him
"I believe from what I've seen our connection and similarities have been explained" she places two fingers under his chin making him down up at her "My dear sweet big brother"
