War struck long ago, amongst moronic, yet incredible people. It dates back far into the dark ages where tales of wonder were born. However, they were far from tall tales. The War of Enchantment; where various species fought amongst themselves, to the point that it led to near genocide. Before the insufferable war began, there were clans, houses and families that held the peace. The five families, eight packs, seven kingdoms, twelve clans, four covens, houses, and two Guardians. They were all like your average society, arguments were struck, deals were made, laws were brought out, enchantments were blessed, and wars were brought out. Parents, children, friends, and neighbors were slaughtered with no remorse. Any act of peace was sought as a trick and destroyed immediately. The sensation of paranoia, and vengeance was so extreme that they began to wonder whether it was the work of magic, but that's the dream of an optimist.

“Ryan, hurry up. We're not gonna wait for you long!” a strong male voice bellowed beneath the spiralling marble staircase. In a dimly lit room, a little boy in a small tux, fiddled with his clip-on tie. His small pink tongue sticking out from the corner of his lips in intense focus. A woman in a sparkling fair green dress chuckled at the sight “I thought you weren't excited for the gala." she teased, “I'm not!” he defended, immediately glaring at the mirror. The woman ushered the boy towards her as she fixed his hair and fixed his tie properly “Well, you should be. I've arranged for you to meet a friend." she encouraged him, the boy appeared confused, but followed his family to the black car without complaint.

Ryan stared in awe as the car zoomed past the short suburban houses into the empty fields. The yellow fields shined brightly against the three moons that hung above. Ryan's father; Liu, followed his son's gaze as he admired the glow of the moonlight as well. "Ryan," he called, a large hand pressing against Ryan's arm "Did you know, back on earth. The world only had one moon." he informed, his bearded smile stretching from ear to ear as he watched wonder fill his eyes. Ryan's brother; Felton, crawled over his mother's green dress to listen to his father better as Liu continued. "Earth was just as large as the planet we stand on today. Its skies were blue and its sun was twice as small yet not twice was far. The oceans were green and slimy, always ever changing with the moon.” he sang as his hands flowed with his words.

Ryan chuckled at his father's dramatic nature as he turned slightly to the blonde girl sitting patiently amongst them. "Did you like earth?" Ryan exclaimed, curious of his older sister's opinion "Earth was…" she contemplated, an electric sensation running through her veins as she gazed into his blue eyes "warm." she concluded, unwilling to disappoint the boy. For the years she had occupied the planet, it was nothing but chaos at every corner, but her little brother didn't have to know that. Her family was rather fortunate to be amongst the few cleared to leave. The Earth has seen many years, but perhaps humans weren't meant to occupy just one planet. Ryan's attention was soon drawn away from his father's fanciful tales as skyscrapers loomed over them as a large metal plate read; 'Welcome to the China City District'.

Their car came to a stop in front of a silver skyscraper. Plenty of other fancy cars came to a stop at the main lobby. Ryan was held in his mother's arms as she kissed her husband on the cheek and made a beeline to the elevator and brought Ryan to a secluded mirror room. It was rather modest, compared to the rest of the building. A television was mounted on the far right mirror wall, and sitting in a corner poking the mirror with her fingers was a little girl, right about his age. “Jaclyn?” Ryan's mother called, the girl jumped in her seat and proceeded to freeze for a moment. Gathering herself, she rotated her seat to face the two, Ryan took note that the most distinctive of her features were her emerald green eyes that could even envy his mother's dress. “My name's Carolyn Fenorin, I'm friends with your mother. This is my son, Ryan, he's just your age." she introduced, the girl stood up her accented red dress flowing “My name's Jaclyn!” she smiled, fidgeting in her dress “My name's Ryan. Today’s my birthday." he announced, proudly “Wanna play a game, R?” “OK." the two children huddled in the corner of the room and began to stick their face on the mirror; the woman can't help but chuckle. There were plenty of toys in the other corner, however to the children; they didn't seem as appealing as the mirrors.
