CHAPTER 14

Ever since the day Yuri and Yena fought, everyone got awkward. Yena became a lonely guy. Listening to music making him calm down leaving all his friends behind. He is also studying hard to get out of the place and not to meet anyone. He has no support. No family. Just Chaeyeon. Who took care of him since young. And Chaeyeon being the only one who knew about his condition.

"Hey Yena..You okay? You rarely hung out with us.."

"Chaeyeon...Please..This hurts" Yena said while pointing to his heart.

"It's okay Yena..You will find a donor soon"

"I pray every night Chae..I miss my family...Is it my turn to go?"

"No Yena..You have to fight for your life..Remember that there is still people like me who cares for you."

"Right..Okay.."

Yena and Yuri now rarely talk. Not rarely but does not talk with each other anymore. Yena really left Yuri. He doesn't want to hurt her anymore. He lets his crush go..Without confessing like what he said to Chaewon.

"Yena hyung! I miss your training presence! Please come back!" Chaewon and Hitomi said.

"Yeah everyone misses you!" Yujin said

"I can't..I quit the team guys..It's personal"

"What?! No!! Our best goalkeeper have left us!" Yujin said.

"Sorry guys..I have to go now!"

Yena ran to the toilet and cried.

"Why God?! Why does it have to be me who have this heart disease?!"

"Yena..C'mon talk to me.." Yena heard Chaeyeon's soothing voice.

"Chae! Why? Why me? Please answer me!"

"God is just testing on how strong you are to endure all these pains."

"I even lost my friendship to Yuri..I feel lost in this world..I feel like I am not needed in this life..Help me Chaeyeon" Yena said from inside the stall not knowing Chaeyeon is recording their conversation.

"Let it all out Yena..I'm here."

"I want to go away from this life! I don't want to live anymore. I want to meet my family up there! I miss them Chae. You know it right? I get nightmares whenever Yuri shouted at me.I hated how she treated me badly. I hated it when she shouts and not smile to me.Like how the Doctors shouted my name as they saw me falling while my parents were being sent to the funeral. The shouts that my brother yelp in pain before passing on! I can't when people shout! It scares me..I hated Yuri for that..She brings back all my memories of them. I hate my life for hating on Yuri too..She is not ugly..She is so clever! I don't understand why Sarang pick on her..I-i ...don't know what to do in this life after knowing about the heart disease but instead I still had fun and hid the disease away from everyone until you found out. I was worried since you were my best buddy and scared that you might leave me as i lied to you saying everything's alright."

"C'mon out. Let's have a hug.."

Yena went out of the stall and hugged Chaeyeon tightly.

"You know I am always here for you bro..You can quit school life too if you are too pressured by the teachers and studies."

"I'll think about quitting since i can't cope knowing this disease won't help me either. I'll just give it another few more tries to really consider about quitting."

"Anything for you to be healthy."

Chaewon and Minju went to the cyber cafè to play some PUBG. They made a good duo and won some chicken dinners. They then went  on a friendly date to watch movies and eat dinner together.

Minju wanted Chaewon to forget his past and try to move on from his father and brother's death. She truly doesn't want to lose him again.

She watched him trying not to fall asleep in the theatre. She laughed as she saw his head bobbing up and down trying to stay awake and make sure Minju was having fun watching the movie.

"Sleepy?" Minju whispers

"Nope. Just trying to exercise my neck."

"Funny" Minju said uninterested with Chaewon's joke.

"Fine.I am really really tired."

"Let's go home then. I'm tired too.It's been a long day."

Chaewon and Minju went to take a taxi.

"I wonder what happened to Yena. He changed so much. Yena also seems to have lost interest in Yuri."

"I noticed it too..He have not been having lunch with us. Even if Yuri isn't there. This is not the Yena I know of."

"Yeah..Want a sleepover?"

"Sure.If you don't mind."

"My parents aren't home for now. Overseas."

"Minju..I'll head back home to grab my uniform and i'll fetch you later."

"Hmm"

Chaewon went home and got ready for school only when he got a call from Chaeyeon that shocked him.
