I hugged Aeria, tighter than I ever had before. I was feeling the worst feeling a human being could possibly feel. Starvation can be faced, illness conquered, depression culled. But the starvation of human touch is what brings nightmares to my dreams, and makes me break out in cold sweats at the mere thought of such a feeling.
"Was it the nightmare again Hunny," Aeris asked me lovingly. I smiled and cuddled closer into her.
"Yeah... It has me in its clutches once again..." I admitted guiltily. I'd been keeping her awake for weeks with my nightmares. We'd thought of possibly going in for therapy, but hoped maybe I would sort myself out over time. It unfortunately hadn't.
"You know I'm always here for you baby," she cooed at me. I simply responded by hugging her tighter. I slowly started feeling the lull of sleep come over me, even without the help of my partners heartbeat. 5 years still doesn't heal the pain still... As I fell asleep, I saw Aeria disappear once again, reminding me of how alone I really was...
