you were sitting on a bench
with your aqua blue hair
you had a smile on your face...courtesy of whatever was making you happy
i didn't speak to you that day of course but you caught me staring at you
you didn't say anything
just sent me a polite smile before you left
and an unfamiliar feeling rushed through me
