Chapter 1: Oh Fuck me

This world is so unfair. It just took me one second. One second I looked away and then when I turned around I saw that truck coming out of nowhere. WHAT THE HELL!

Those are my last thoughts before I came into this world. When I arrived I had other things than my past life to worry about. I had to worry about if I would learn the new language of this country I was born in. I lamented over having to go back to school and experience puberty all over again. Dammit! 

Well, look at the bright side Chieko (that's right my new name sounds like a bird name) you get another shot at living. Would I? I just realized that the boy who is my twin brother, Hanagaki Takemichi is the protagonist of a manga named "Tokyo revengers". For those who don't know the plot goes something like this.

The 26-year-old, Hanagaki Tachimeki is a loser who finds out that his ex-girlfriend, Hinata Tachibana, in middle school was killed in an "accident" which was staged- (I'll get to this part later). Anyway, Hanagaki later dies in a train accident and travels through time to when he was in his first year of middle school. He gets a shot to redo everything but figures out that he can do nothing. He then spoils the future for his ex-girlfriend's younger brother Naoto Tachibana who shakes his hands and he returns to the future. In the future, Naoto Tachibana has become a detective and has memories of his promise to Hinagaka. Unfortunately, Hinagaka did not manage to save Hinata from dying and they soon figure out a way to travel back in time and how that time travel shit works. They figure out that Hinagaka need to join Touma which is a delinquent gang ruled by Mikey (Manjirou Sano). He sorts of befriends with the popular delinquent kids (no shocker). Through his constant weak-ass fighting he gains people's hearts and votes as he stands up to the stronger and more powerful. After all, he needs to save Hinata. Anyway, one scheme unravels after another and bam! Turns out that a bad evil scheming dude Tetta Kisaki is behind the death of his ex-girlfriend and one of his classmates and friends Astushi Sendou (Akki).  However, something else reveals and spoiler alert Tetta knew Hanagaki from when they were younger because he was a friend to Hinata from cram school. These three kids met each other when Hanagaki saved Hinata who certainly has civil courage but is also reckless for standing up against stronger people when she is alone.

Anyway, the point is that I'm gonna have to become stronger. Not just stronger but also fast. While I'm also young I might also save a few people from their deaths like Mikey's older brother Shinishirou (or something like that). That would, in turn, spare Mikey from having to end up in a messy relationship with Keisuke Baji and Kazutora Hanemiya, since Baji dies after Kazutora kills him and Mikey kills Kazutora afterward. Such a mess I know. Then we also have Tetta Kisaki who needs to be dealt with as he is clearly the manipulator behind the scene. Maybe if I become his friend then he won't become such a jackass...

However, those are my future plans and all I can do is write this "to-do-list" in my black book in English. 

1) Gain back my muay thai skills

2) Befriend Yuzuha and beat up her brother Taiju

3) Save Mikey's brother from being killed by Kazutora

4) Befriend Tetta Kisaki

5) Make sure Mikey doesn't become a hollow living being

I was already four years old. I needed to start training.

From here on I would wake up 04:30 every day and go to bed at 21:00. I would stretch and stretch some more. I would hit against the plank in the playground I had set up and train some other moves. I would repeat and repeat this. My twin brother and his friends may have joined me a couple of times but most of all it was just me.

Our parents weren't the overprotective ones and let us wander outside to play with other kids as long as we came home before eight in the evening. That gave me more time to explore the area and I figured that all the characters in the manga didn't live in the same area. Well, I'm bound to meet them anyway. Meanwhile, I took the chance to look at all the motorcycle stores in the area. 

I started primary school and of course, I was the one who had to teach my brother math and all the other things so that he wouldn't get left behind and at least be able to enter a nice university. This is real life and sure the underworld and upper world do come hand in hand however an underworld is a dangerous place. Too dangerous for us.

For some reason, my muscles didn't become bigger while I trained. It was if this world wanted to preserve the ideal female beauty. Oh well, as long as I'm strong enough to fight whoever.

Also, I didn't gain any girlfriends or any friends at all. I was too caught up with my plans and people around me thought that I was weird and that I definitely wasn't someone worth befriending. Here's the thing about primary school. If you don't manage to gain friends by then, then you are screwed for the rest of your life.

"Hey! Let that cat go!", a young girl's voice caught me off-guard. Could it be?

A young Hinata Tachibana stood in front of five older and bigger bullies. She wasn't trembling but she certainly was scared. I looked at were Tetta Kisaki stood. He simply stood and trembled like it was him that would get into trouble. I put my arms around his shoulder.

"Don't worry she will be fine", I comforted him. He stopped shivering only to look at me in surprise and a person ran past us. "See? The hero appears".

I saw Hinagaki start fighting with the older boys while Hinata was trying to interfere. I took her by the shoulders.

"Don't become another burden to him", was my warning to her and she simply looked at my brother being beaten up.

I could go and save him but he totally needed this. His sis couldn't save him all the time either so it is better if he knows how weak he truly is.

After the fight was over Hinata approached the bruised and lying Hinagaka. She thanked him for saving her like a true damsel in distress. As for Tetta he was still watching the scene with me. 

"Chieko Tachimeki, nice to meet you", I held out my hand to the smart-looking boy. He hesitated as he simply looked at me.

"Tetta Kisaki", he shook it a little thrown off by my gesture.

"That's my twin brother over there", I said proudly. "He's an idiot but most heroes are idiots".

"Anyway, you live anywhere around here?", I had to ask as he nodded and told me that he lived a few blocks from here.

"Oh! Then you live near the sushi restaurant".

"Yes, in fact, I do. Then how about I invite you and your friend to eat at the sushi restaurant with my brother. No one is at home for the moment so we got some money to buy food for ourselves", I explained which was a lie. I had asked our parents to let us eat at the sushi restaurant for dinner while our parents had a romantic dinner to themselves. I knew it was hard to raise a child and getting some time for themselves is even rarer so this was my thanks to them for birthing me into this world. 

"I don't know... My mother expects me to be home...", he stuttered.

"Oh, come on. You live near and we'll accompany you. Don't you have a self-phone or something?".

"I-I do".

"Then just call your mother and tell her that you're out eating with your friends. I will even talk with her if you need to".

He thought for a moment before nodding. 

"Oi, bro. Let's go eat at the restaurant. Hinata, right? Do you wanna eat with us. We have enough money for all four of us. We'll escort you home later".

"Alright", she nodded as she still held Hanagaka's hand. He was blushing hard.
