Chapter 1: Losses And Brainstorms
Losses referring to the Little Runt

Cassidy sat , another day in the orphanage.
Another bowl Full of Porridge slop, and another hour passes like seconds in her lonely room.
She turned towards her Closet, and Picks what she calls a Glam outfit.

Reason being 'what she calls' because she has no money, and the Orphanage doesn't really care to buy clothes more.

She decided on a long sleeved T-Shirt, with black and white striped Sleeves.
Blue jeans and old trainers.

Meanwhile

Sabre Decided on a Pink floral Shoulderless (long sleeved) Shirt, with a white short ruffled skirt , Knee High pink socks and white strapped shoes.

Naz decides on a Short , poofy red dress, with striped red tights, Red strapped shoes and a Red Bow, the size of her head.

Sockie Chooses a yellow and Black swirled jumpsuit, with a black and white striped sleeves, Her hair in a Bun and shoes being Black flats.

Buggy just threw on, Jeans, an old T-Shirt , Converse and a backwards hat on. Covering his messy Blonde mop.

With Cassidy

Cassidy sat on the edge of her bed, now Made and prepared for Inspection.
A soft knock came at the door, And once it opened, It showed Marianne.
The Caretaker of the Orphanage.

She kept a straight face, Walking in with her clipboard.
She patted the bed, Pleased. Then walked over to the wardrobe, Opening it, she slightly smiled and closed it.
She took one wide glance around the room, barely laying her eyes upon Cassidy and gave her 10/10 , Leaving, Slamming the door behind her.

Cassidy puffed a long breath out that she had Been holding in.
She opened her drawer, Grabbing the old Nintendo and playing Mario Kart.

Later

Loud bangs came at the door.
"Oh no. Now it's Jamie Lee for dinner" Cassidy thought to herself.
"DINNER!" Came the muffled yelling from behind the door.

"I'm Coming Miss Lee!" Cassidy shouted back, Kindly, masking her face with a smile and walking out the door.

As she Slipped spoon fulls of the chunky Vegetable soup in her small mouth, Cassidy's face scrunched up. But she knew she would get Slapped or something for wasting the Cooks time, as that had happened before when she left a small potato and carrot from her old Friends Birthday dinner a few years ago.

She finished eating her horrible chunky Liquid, and slugged the far too horrible Apple Milk.
She ate the sneaked TimTam from her pocket and put her head down, Pretending to eat a potato that wasn't even there.

She looked up, and saw One of the younger kids smiling widely at her.
Then she turned and felt two arms dragging her out of the hall by the Hair.

With The Norris's

Brooke couldn't believe the news.
She cried her eyes out, and lost all hope.
Grabbing the box of Freddos and TimTams from the Pantry, she sat watching Movies.
Such as,
The Holiday
The Breakup
Just Go with It
Couples Retreat

Until her Family came home...
She stood up, fixing her her and looking at herself in The downstairs mirror, Adding makeup to cover the spots on her face.
Justin walked in, with wet hair and  the same Goofy smile as always.

Naz was smiling away, hugging Biggy. Sabre was talking to Sockie, about how her normal Clothes looked like Pj's.
Justin noticed his wife standing there, leaned against the Kitchen worktop, with her face flat, showing Emotionless.

Justin slowly walked over, and rubbed her arm.
"Hey, what's wrong? You should've seen Bigs when Sabre landed the underwater backflip." She smiled, but his smile faltered when his wife frowned and a tear slipped from her eye.

He raised a brow in concern, hugging His wife.
"What's wrong Brooke? You gotta tell me so I can help you man,"

Wiping her eyes, She explained to her Husband how The Little Runt egg finally lost its battle.
She slipped a tear too and shouted the ,now dry, Norris nuts.

Naz ran down, in her Pink jumpsuit and bunny slippers, holding Bunny with her.
Sabre ran down in her pink Pjs, while Sockie cake down with a Yellow and blue spotted Onzie, along with Biggy, wearing a Dinosaur Shirt and printed Shorts.

Justin sat the kids down, and eyed them Dangerously.
"Mum has sad news, So listen to her." They could tell he means business, because he didn't smirk or even raise an eyebrow.

They all felt their Hearts racing, watching their Mum stand forward.
"Kids,...." She took a space.
"The little Runt.. lost her battle this morning.." And started letting a few tears slip.

Naz looked up, clutching Bunny tightly and sobbed.
Sabre stared down at the floor, stood up and ran upstairs, Distracting herself with Editing.
Biggy let tears fall and stayed sitting on the Sofa.
Sockie let a tear fall, but stayed with Biggy and Naz On the Sofa, and had a Brainstorm.

Brooke stood from her BeanBag chair, and hugged started to cry.
The Rest of the Norris nuts (including Justin) stood and hugged Their Mother.
Sockie cried on Brooke's shoulder, Biggy and Naz done the same.

With Cassidy

The next day- ( New Years - 11:41PM)

Cassidy didn't have any plans for the day.
Just basically;

•Sleep
•Nintendo Switch
•Lunch (sloppy chicken sandwich)
•Sleep
•Dinner (more slop)
•Sleep
•Nintendo Switch

- The same Almost.
"BANG BANG BANG''

Three extremely loud Knocks came at the door.
Cassidy stood, opening the door slightly.
There stood Marianne.
Oh no..

"There's A woman called 'Brooke' here to see you, Says she likes your.. profile sheets."

Excitement rises upon Cassidys throat.
"Someon...Someone w-wants to a-adopt m-m-me?.." before she could finish her Sentence, Marianne slammed the door and stormed off.

"YAYYYY!!" She squealed, happy for the first time.

Earlier that day with Brooke and Sockie

"Hey, Mama..?" Sockie knocked on her Mums bedroom Door.
The door shifted open, revealing her Mama, looking tired.
"What's up Sock?"
" I-it's just I have an idea.."
Her Mama let her in and closed the door, Moving forward to change Discos diaper.
"So... What's up?" Her Mama asked whilst changing Discos diaper.

Sockie handed her Mama the Newspaper, Once she was finished changing Disco.
"Go to page 6.." Sockie Replied to her Mama.
Brooke took the newspaper and turned to page 6, Turning shocked at what Sockie was trying to show her.
"An  Orphanage? You want me to adopt a kid?" She asked.
Sockie nodded.
"I already asked Papa. He said as long as it's what you want. He left to the Swimming Centre." Sockie answered.

Brooke decided then.
"Let's go then"
