Imma tell you guys about something that happened the other week while school was still on.

I was chatting with my best friend about my sexuality and one of her other friends was sitting near us.

My friend is in a weird place at school. She is in the Dance Excellence class with all of the popular girls but all of them don't really like her. I guess that happens when you stick up for a closeted friend in a group of homophobes.

Anyway, we were chatting, and one of the girls near us heard what we were saying. She turned to me and said, "*insert my name here*? Really? Are you actually, like, a lesbian?"

I sort of nodded and said, "Gay". Darn, why do I talk so loud?

Then she started rambling on about how she was a Christian (no offence to Christians) and how, no offence and all, I would go to hell, blah blah blah, yadda yadda yadda, and then she said, "Wait, you don't have a CRUSH on me, do you?"

She sounded so scared I wanted to laugh (I didn't).

I just said, "WHAT?! Ew, no. You're not my type and, anyway, I have standards."

She gasped and had THE MOST hilarious look I've EVER seen on ANYONE'S face in my WHOLE entire LIFE! I woulda laughed but I didn't.

She sort of just glared at me and walked away. I didn't see her for the rest of the school year but I am still afraid that she will tell the whole school. In a way, though, I am kind of relieved. When I do tell my school, that's one less person I will have to tell. But, then again, if she tells everyone then it will save the embarrassment of having to tell the whole school myself.

Do you guys think I said the right thing? I mighta scared that girl off, which serves her right because I never really liked her in the first place.

I kinda need help.
