I'm Always Here

Chapter 1

My story starts on the last day of 8th grade.

Me: Omg I can't believe we did it. We actually made it to ninth grade!

Lisanna: *😭* We're about to officially be high schoolers.

Me: *😂* You're such a baby.

Lisanna: *😭* Your a baby.

Alex: *walks up to us* How? She's not the one crying?

This Alex. He's 15 and Lisanna's love of her life. He's Nicaraguan (look it up) but he was born
in America.

Lisanna: *small chuckle* Shut up.

Me: I mean he's not wrong.

Lisanna: Y'all can't double team me.

Me: We're not double teaming you. *😂*

Camron: *walks up to us* Hey y'all.

Me: Hey babe. *Kisses his cheek*

Lisanna: *🙄* Hi.

Camron: So Amanda is having a party at her house tonight.

Me: I was just gonna hangout with my family tonight but why not. Iris?

Lisanna: I'm not going.

Camron: It starts at 10.

Me: Great we'll be ready at 11:30.

Lisanna: No. YOU'LL be ready at 11:30.

Me: No. WE'LL be ready at 11:30.

Lisanna: You can't make me go if I don't wanna go.

Alex: I mean, I'm down for a party.

Lisanna: Cool. See you there.

Me: *small chuckle* Wow.

Alex: Great. *Walks away*

Camron: I've missed you babe.

Me: I missed you too. I can't believe the exchange program lasted almost the entire year.

Camron: Yeah. There's a lot of great people in Asia.

Lisanna: *under her breath* Yeah, a lot of good people to cheat with.

Camron: What?

Lisanna: Nothing.

For the rest of the school day we just wondered the hallways and talked to the rest of our friends and said our goodbyes.

After school Lisanna and I went to go buy some ice cream to celebrate. We bought sherbet ice cream and chocolate syrup to go on it and some hot Cheetos so we could dip them in. I know it sounds REALLY disgusted but it's good to us at least.

(9pm)(My house)

Lisanna: We need to start getting ready for the party.

Me: Oh you mean the party you didn't want to go to until Alex decided that he did? That party?

Lisanna: Whatever. *Starts doing her makeup*

Me: I don't see why you don't just ask him out.

Lisanna: I do. He doesn't like me.

Me: Exactly. He loves you.

Lisanna: We're just friends. Nothing more nothing less.

Me: But y'all could be something more if you asked him out. You need to shoot your shot before some female dog comes along and snatches him up right from under your nose. *Starts getting ready*

Lisanna: He. Does not. Like me.

Me: Exactly. He. Loves. You. I'm telling you he loves you.

Lisanna: Wanna bet?

Me: Bet. If I win you owe me $100.

Lisanna: Bet and if I win you owe me $100 and he have to ask out Carlos.

Me: I'm dating Camron Iris. You know that.

Lisanna: Yeah but he's cheating on you. You KNOW he's cheating on you. You just refuse to see it.

Me: And I still refuse to believe that he's cheating on me.

Lisanna: Babes come on. Before he went to Asia you found Emily's name in his phone.

Me: They could be just friends.

Lisanna: Yeah, friends with benefits.

(11:40pm)

Me: Alex is outside.

Lisanna: Yaay!

(At Amanda's house)

Camron: I'm gonna go get you and me some drinks.

Me: Ok.

Camron: *walks away*

Lisanna: It's so much people here.

Me: Yeah. I don't know why I wanted to come here. I don't like people.

Lisanna: Wanna go home?

Me: Yep.

Alex: Y'all not going nowhere.

Me: Please Alex.

Alex: Nope.

Lisanna: I mean if Alex wants to stay we can stay.

Me: Ugh. ok.

(20 minutes of dancing)

Me: Camron never came back with my drink.

Lisanna: Yeah. He's probably hooking up with some sl*t.

Me: Language.

Lisanna: I'm not wrong.

Me: I'm gonna go look for him.

I looked for him almost everywhere. I decided to look in the bedrooms. I checked the first 3 bedrooms then I checked the 4th one and what I saw broke my heart.

Camron: *making out with some girl*

Me: Camron!!!

Camron: *stops* Babe.

Me: Don't babe me! You're really cheating on me?!?

Camron: I'm sorry.

Me: *😭* *runs outside*
