The Dark

It was dark. I couldn't see the hand in front of my face. The screaming had stopped. I stopped running. I could see nothing. I could hear nothing. But I wasn't alone.

I looked around. I was scared. I shouldn't have gone in there. I tripped, and fell. When I hit the bottom of the pit, I screamed in pain. I looked desperately ahead. I didn't think I was too injured.

Then suddenly, a light came on up ahead. I walked cautiously towards it. Then I saw with horror the remains of a middle-aged woman. The corpse's face was like it was silently screaming, with the eyes posed at the killer. I turned around, and saw him. I saw IT.

It was a man with brown hair, and he was about average height for a man of his age. It looked like his mouth was bleeding furiously, but I knew where the blood actually came from. The woman's neck. "Hello," the man said, "why are you still awake?"
"Stay back!" I exclaimed, as he moved ever so closely every second.
"Now why would I do that, little miss? Can't you see my wife is sleeping? You need to sleep too! Sleep! Now!" He suddenly made a break for it toward me.

I ran. I fell. I stood up. I looked behind me. I could see the creepy eyes of the man, coming for me. I kept running. I was lost. In the dark.

With it coming for me.
