Chapter 9

"Daylen where's your brother?" I asked when I walked in the house.

"he in there in the back room" he said pointing down the hall. I walked into the room and seen a lifeless Jaylen lying on the floor with bullet holes in his chest. I ran back to the living room to get Daylen but as soon as I turned the corner somebody hit me in the head with a metal pipe. it almost knocked me out

"Damn, I almost had you" Daylen standing over me with the pipe.

"Man, wtf are you doing dude yo brother is dead" I said getting up to my feet.

"Don't you think I know that. Shidd I killed him" Daylen said emotionless.

"But I just"

"Talked to him? Don't you think I can make my voice sound like my twins? I killed him Jay and yo brother..... and you next" he said and he start beating me with the pipe. I fell to the ground then he started stomping me.. I was spitting up blood and everything went dark.

"Shae! Wakeup" I heard as Somebody was shaking me. I woke up with sweat & tears on my face "calm down baby It's just a dream" Anjrew said as he wrapped his arms around me and began rubbing in my belly. Ive been having this same dream for damn near a month since I got Out the hospital. Visions of Jaylen's dead body and Daylen damn near killing me. I just laid my head on Anjrew chest and tried to go to sleep. I just had the feeling that he was gone be a ghost nigga and come back and kill me an my baby. Know one knew I was pregnant yet but Kwuan and Anjrew. Kwuan was upset at first but he excepted the fact. Anjrew was excited he said he didn't care if it turns out to be Kwuan's baby he still is going to take care of him or her. I haven't seen Keshaun since my baby bump has been noticeable. I was scared to tell him because he always said he wanted to see me finish school and go to college because that's what mom & pops would have wanted. but here I am pregnant my Jr year. I didn't know what he would think of me not really knowing who the father is because I still planned on finishing school and going to college.

"Jrew..." I said shaking him gently.

"hmm?"

"how am I supposed to tell Keshaun that Im pregnant. and What am I supposed to tell him when he asks whose the father?" "baby listen, Keshaun loves you to death. Just tell him the truth he won't judge you" he said. I thought about it then fell asleep...

I got up and got dressed. I decided to wear a grey fitted dress with a pink cardigan &flats.  I took a shower and headed out.

Damn It's been a lil while since I been here I thought to myself as I walked up to the trap. When I walked in nobody was in the front but the watch boy. Lol is a shame I don't Know the poor kid's name

"what's your name?" I asked him

"Sheldon, but you can call me Shellz" he said

"Ohhhh Okay. were everybody at?"

"in there" he said pointing to the conference room.. before I walked in the door I took a deep breath.

"Damn Shae, you getting fat" Sosa said when he seen me. I just walked past him and gave him the finger.

When Shae walked in the first thing I noticed was her stomach.

"SHAUNNNYY" she said jumping around my neck giving me a hug

"Shaeeeee" I said looking at here cause is obviously something different about her.

"I have something to tell you" see said with her mood going from excited to serious real quick. I looked at her like "continue"
