I can feel my lungs burning from running away from those damn vampires, how dare they killed them all without giving any mercy. Those bastards are some sadistic pieces of fuck.

I stopped once I have gone deep into the forest nearby I think I have lost them for now though no doubt they will come after me soon enough.

I deeply inhale and exhale to quickly regain my breath after leaning my back on a tree to have a quick rest. I heard something moving towards me ever so slowly but whoever or whatever this is, it's not them. They didn't smell of blood and their steps are not cautious at all rather confident and not even trying to hide their presence.

“My what have I found here?” A rather beautiful man appears though his fashion sense is quite questionable he must be rich and no rich man would travel this deeply into a forest alone at this time of night. “Who are you?” I demanded his name.

He chuckled at me and give me a causal smile. “I'm a person who happened to witness an unfortunate slaughter back there. It saddens me that they killed them so fast that I couldn't do anything to help, so I wish to give you a temporary place to stay until you regain your place back as a compensation.”

Place? I almost let out a laugh. It's nice that he cares even though I know he's after something but that's a funny word he used. He truly intended for me to never leave there it seems.

I remain my stoic expression and nodded reluctantly. “But what do you get out of this sir...?” “I am Karlheinz, and it seems you figure my intention how amusing.” He chuckled but his eyes doesn't match his laugh perhaps he wishes for me to remain obedience and not question further.

“All I wish is for you to take care of my sons while you are at it. Think of it as a babysitting job to pay for your stay in the mansion.” Babysitting...? I wonder how old they are if he's using that word he's too vague for my liking but whatever as long as I survive then fine.

I might regret this later but there's no other choices. “I accept your offer. Lead the way.” He smiled and extended his hand towards me I reach for his hand and the moment I knew I was infront of a large mansion and left alone, but she felt the hand that was holding his now have something. I was about to put my hands on the door but it suddenly open itself. Now I'm feeling kind of nervous. ‘Are you sure going in with you covered in your own blood and your fellow family is a smart choice to do?’ Oh, that's a good point I should go find a river to bathe in first...

I turned my back and was about to leave temporarily. “Who are you?” It seems it wouldn't be that easy. I was ready to turn back again but the pain of my wounds couldn't bare it anymore and my eventually my vision darken and then I no longer feel anything but darkness.
