Like I expected, me and Aunnie had to go to a new school. We had to take a bus (in MN we walked) since the main city and residential area were a few miles apart. As we got to the school everyone stared at us. The guys noticed Aunnie wearing her cool clothes, so they knew they wanted to hang with her. The girls noticed my dress and knew they needed me.
My twin was joining a number of sports teams and clubs, and I liked all of them to, so I joined them all. But I quit ice racing so I, and Aunnie could have a thing of our own. I wanted something I would be great at. So I joined the third grade cheerleading squad. The captain was Wendy Testaburger. As for everyone else, it was just about every girl in Mr.Garrison's class (except Aunnie) "Welcome to the team Destiny," Bebe said cheerfully. "Thanks," I replied. "So Destiny, are you going to Red's slumber party tonight? Every girl in third grade is going. Except that weird sister of your's. No offense," Wendy said. "None taken," I smiled. "And sure I'll go. If its ok with my parents." I asked and dad said "If it's ok with her parents, it's ok with me. As long as it's not here."
Red had a nice house. we watched The Fault in Our Stars, ordered pizzas, then went to her room to play sleepover games. One, as I thought would, created alot of drama. "Destiny, truth or dare?" Bebe asked. "Truth," I replied, knowing the dare would be way worse. But I was wrong. And no, it wasn't who I liked, it was who my twin sister liked. "We already know you're way into Kenny, but who does Aunnie like? And remember, you must answer truthfully." But the worst part was, I knew. I might have read Aunnie's diary and found out she was completely in love with Kyle Brofaloski. And worse than that was that I blurted it out. "Ummmm, Ky-le," I said stupidly. That got everyone in an uproar. "OMG! He is like the cutest guy ever! I used to date him. No wonder Aunnie likes him," Bebe screamed. "Yeah looks like Aunnie's getting her heart broken," Collete scoffed. "Wha, what makes you say say that?" I stuttered. "Me and Aunnie, subtract hair color, (I'm a dirty blonde) a few facial features, and clothing, we're identical!" "Yeah Collete you don't get him anymore, because your dating Token!" Red yelled. "No shit, but c'mon, who in their right mind would date Aunie! Sure she's gorgeous, but she's super weird!" Collete pointed out. Luckily Red's mom brought in snacks, so we changed the subject. But I knew Nothing was over. Not yet.
