Origins Part 2

      Oreo decided to apply to the school and made sure everything on the application about her was very descriptive and accurate. A week later, she decided to check her mail to see if she got in, but nothing had arrived yet.

      "Oh, come on, they are supposed to start next week!" The dark haired girl let out a deep sigh and began to walk back to her apartment, when she looked up to see the mailman delivering mail to a different set of mailboxes and gasped. "That's it! The mail just hasn't come yet!" But I'm too lazy to wait here for him to finish...... She continued to walk back.

      Around a 3 minute walk from her house, she saw that Strange Quartet again. "Huh?" Do they live near here? She just ignored them, and continued to walk home. Once she did get home, she popped her head through her slightly opened bedroom door and plopped down face first on her bed.

      "I'm so tired, I can sleep for a year......" She then covered herself under her warm comforter and began to drift off into the land of dreams..... Until..... She heard a loud knock at her door!

      She spring out of bed, startled at the sudden noise, then let out a deep sigh of relief. She went to the front door and peeped through the small peephole to see....... The mailman? What was he doing there? The tired kitten just slowly opened the door, and asked what he was doing there.

      "I was delivering your mail, and thought you would want this one handed to you personally..." Oreo gently grabbed the envelope out of his hands, thanked him, and shut the door. She proceeded to turn on the lights in her living room to read the note. Once she tore apart the envelope, she realized that it came from SouthGate High- the place she had applied for a week ago.

      "Please let me in, please let me in, please let me in......." Oreo begged to the letter as she slowly opened the card inside.

      Hello, Oreo! We are so glad you've applied to SouthGate High! We are pleased to say you have been accepted to join our community of the unnatural. School will start next week, and you will need to move into one of our dorms. You will clearly need to pack some stuff for this.

      I can't believe it...... I actually got in! Oreo squeeled to herself and couldn't help but dance around in pure happiness. She continued to read;

      You will have the first day off to meet other students, decorate your dorm, and map out the school. We will be glad to see you there!
