Azuma's POV:
I'm cold I feel weak. I opened my eyes to found out that it's morning already. I got up in bed. Ah- I forgot that it's the first day of school. What's so good about school. I should go get a quick shower now.
"Hsst" I groaned as the cold water run through my wounds all over my body. They're still not healed huh.... I endured the pain and finally, I'm finished taking a shower. I applied ointments on my wounds and wrapped them up with bandages. Then I picked up my uniform then get dressed.
I head downstairs for breakfast and all I found is mess. Broken glasses scattered everywhere even the furnitures are slightly damaged. My parents fought again. *sigh* I picked up that scattered glasses then placed them on the trash can. I also fixed the furnitures and cleaned up the remaining mess. I looked at the time and found out that it's already 8:40! My class starts at 9 and our house is very far away from the school!
I hurriedly get my bag and dashed my way to school.

I took a bus on my way to school and boom! Its already past 9 o'clock and I'm just standing in front of the door of the classroom panting. Then I opened the door, I was about to say something until some of the students just chuckled and they also mocked at me. I looked down in shame. Then just went to my seat as the teacher instructed me.

Lunch break is here and I'm looking around for someone who I can eat with until I spotted a guy eating lunch all alone. He have pale skin and ruby red eyes. Red eyes? That's a bit unusual. Since he's not eating with someone I decided to eat with him.
"H-hi, can I eat with you?" I asked stuttering then he agreed so I grabbed a chair and ate with him.

Lunch break ended and lecturing time continued and the best part us that me and Mafu san are now friends. There were even some weird stares and mocking smiles on us while we were talking to each other during our lunch break.

"Mafu san, can I ask a question?" I asked to break this silence between us. Class already ended and we're now walking our way to home. But there's still this awkwardness between us.
"Um.. Sure" He said
"Have you ever had a friend before?"
I asked as I stared at him. He froze. I know this question is so sudden and nonsense but I'm just curious.
"N-no.. to be honest you're my first friend." He said looking down at the ground.
"Why did you asked?" He continued and looked at me.
"Nothing, the atmosphere between us is just so... awkward.. Hehe... Well, you were also my first friend by the way."
"Eh? Really? -Mafu
"Yup, I've been alone for most of my life. Not having someone to lean onto." I answered. He just stared at me and nodded.
"I'm really thankful because you agreed to become my friend, Mafu san." I said while looking at him with a smile. I saw a light blush on his face.
"M-me too!" He said then smiled back at me. Wwwww we chuckled on the way and just talked about random stuffs until the day already ended.
