"Have you seen Harry yet?" I asked Zayn suddenly at the worst time possible.

He froze and lifted me back up, "not yet, you should go find him actually."

How to get out of an awkward position? Ask me, I should make a book about it.

"Any idea where he may be?"

Zayn shrugs not caring, since it interrupted our moment, "you might want to check out in the hallway."

I proceeded on with Zayn' suggestion and found myself in the lit hallway.

The lights were on, but the whole hall was deserted, the only sound of life came from the prom.

My dress traced behind me, and I heard the sound of a locker shutting echo in the hallway, "Hello?"

Maybe I should double check if I am alone; I'm starting to hear things. "Harry, is that you?" I fixed my corsage, whilst I walked a little more down the corridor.

"Harry?" I called again, but there was no reply.

I sighed turning around, "guess my prom date decided not to come after all."

When I'm about to enter the prom again, the corridor lights suddenly burst, causing darkness and glass to break, smashing more when making contact with the floor.

I heard screams coming from inside the prom and I widened my eyes.

My body froze immediately, as I felt a cold hand on my shoulder.

Taking a risk, I placed my hand over the unknown figure's cold hand and was pushed against a locker.

I grimaced in pain and once I re-opened my eyes, I was encountered by a blood thirsty vampire with a hand round my neck.

"Oh my God."

FOUR DAYS EARLIER.

"Prom? Pfft, we still need to sit our final exam and besides prom isn't all that. You should be mostly focusing on graduation."

Yeah it is. Prom is everything in the last year of school.

I don't know why I'm making it seem like I dislike prom, even though me and Nicole got our prom dresses sorted like last month.

"Are you crazy?!? Prom is this Friday! Graduation is next week." Kayla exclaims.

I laugh at her, "back in Florida, we had junior prom, it was not what I expected to be honest."

It was definitely what I expected, it was amazing. I'm just finding it fun annoying my friends.

"What do you mean?" Sheryl asks, looking offended that I'm talking trash about prom.

I close my locker, "prom at my old school, was just a bunch girls fighting to be prom queen."

It was, but that doesn't mean it was horrible, it was far from that.

"Because that's the goal Kate." April replies, appearing crazy with her eyes wide.

I shrug my shoulders, "it's not like I'm not going to come, I just think it's overrated. Sorry not sorry." I lie.
