When Brutus heard that Lola got back from the vet he felt so ashamed of himself and every time he tried to apologize she would just walk away and when he tried to persuade her Mr. Wrinkles told him to leave her alone.
So he gave up but one day Mr. Wrinkles came to him with a worried look on his face. Brutus asked what's wrong Mr. Wrinkles responded I'm worried about Lola she not acting like herself, she barely sleeps, and doesn't eat. She's just not taking care of herself. Brutus asked to see her and when he did he was shocked she looked so skinny that her ribs were showing and she had bags under her eyes but no matter how hungry she was she just didn't eat or rest her eyes. When Brutus approached her she immediately ran into her dog house whimpering in fear. Brutus left and knew what was wrong with her.
