Izzy's POV:
It all started when I was born. See, my mom loved me at first, but growing up was not the best thing that has happened. My parents argued a lot and they barely pay any attention to me. Here's something my mom did to me at the age of 9, even though I did nothing.
I was in my room, studying for my test, when all of a sudden my room door slammed open really loudly. My mom marched over to me, took me out of my chair, grabbed me by the collar of my shirt, and then slapped me across the face really hard. She started yelling at me for not doing my chores, like cleaning up my room, doing the dishes, and doing the laundry, when I did all those stuff.
I kept telling her I did everything she told me, but she just slapped me again. She grabbed me by the shirt again and threw me across the room. I hit the back of the wall and was left there unconscious. As I finally regained conscious after 20 minutes, my mom marched over to me again but with a little scalpel on her hand.
My eyes widened in fear. I tried to back away from her, but she grabbed my arm before I could run. She turned my face to face hers, raised the scalpel and then she made a huge cut from my forehead to my right eye. I screamed in pain, but my mom covered my mouth before my Dad could come in. Then she kicked me in the eye so hard I became half blind, and also having my eye color change randomly. She told me to shut the hell up or she'll kill me. I obeyed.
I am now 16 years old, but my mother still abuses me. I try to protect myself, but I knew I was weak. I can't protect myself, I can't stand up to myself, I can't do anything. Now I have to lay down and go to this place called "Hell."
