Nat's POV

I woke up with a terrible backache and suddenly I remembered what happened the night before.

I tried to move and make some sounds but it was useless.

I heard some footsteps approaching and after a few seconds I saw the same man who kidnapped me the night before.

-Ok I am going to remove this- he said pointing to the cloth on my mouth -But you have to promise me that you won't scream ok?-.

I nodded and he did like he said.

I coughed, finally free; he then tied my ankles to the desk and free my hands.

-Here, eat- he said giving me a plate with a toast and ham.

He sat in front of me while I was eating and it was like he was studying me.

-I am sorry- he said.

I looked at him, confused.

-I am sorry about how I treated you yesterday, I needed help but then you started screaming and I panicked. I didn't want to hurt you- he said.

He was sincere, I could see that.

-Your leg needs a new bandage. I can change it if you bring me my kit- I said.
He nodded and he gave me the kit.

-Can I... Can I know your name?- I asked while I was cleaning his wound.

-Bucky... It is my name, I think-.

-What do you mean?-.

-I don't remember much of my past- he said.

-Oh... Well, what if me make a deal?- I said and he looked at me, curious -I help you to have your memories back and you free me. I won't say anything to anyone, I swear-.

He seemed to think about it and after endless minutes he nodded.

-Ok, you can come back to your life- he said -But please help me-.

I nodded and he cut all the ropes.

-Come lay on the bed, it is better for your leg- I said and he did like I said -Yesterday you didn't let me clean it completely, I have to take some alcool-.

He nodded and I started healing it, his screams as soundtrack.

-Ok I finished- I said -You should rest, your body needs energies-.

I covered him with some blankets and he looked like a scared puppy.

-I am going to order some food and things from the supermarket so I don't have to leave the house. I will be downstairs- I said.

He took my wrist but this time he was kinder.

-Thank you, I don't deserve this- he said.
-Everyone deserves a second chance- I said.

He made a little smile and then closed his eyes.
