CHAPTER 18: A Few Before It Shines

"Khun Phi ... can I ask something?". Asked Gulf who was leaning his weight against Mew's well built upper body. Thank god that the maroon sofa was able to withstand the weight of the two tall men, and it gave comfort to the older for letting the younger rest on him wholely.

"What is that?". Replied Mew while rubbing Gulf's lil tummy. It's a bit stick out compare to the average man who's in his age. Although hes tall, his proportion isn't as broad as Mew.

But, that boy is sure has some strength in him.

"Am I untrustworthy?". Gulf finally spoke out his mind that has been wandering in his head since a while ago. He wanted to ask Mew about this but it seems that Mew was avoiding him.

This is my finest chance to ask him everything. From the back then until now.

What is really his deepest secret that he was unable to tell even to me. And I always heard about 'protecting me' terms whenever he has the chance to say it.

I dont get it dammit! Im in the process of understanding my own boyfriend but if he dont open up himself to me,

..... how can I serve myself fully being his one and only partner for the rest of our lives?

This insecurity of mine is really gonna explode anytime soon.

Mew was startled after hearing Gulf's unexpected question. He immediately knew the real intention of what his yai nong about to pursue.

He still doesn't understand me, but I'm not blaming him, because he feel like I cant trust him to depend on him. He wanted to be the best partner for me, and I get that very well.

"Who said that ... My wife are so cute and adorable. He's this faithful and lovely. Who dare said that you're untrustworthy? I'll talk to them nice and good". Mew was changing the topic, and pecking a kiss onto Gulf's back nape.

Gulf turned to look at Mew, with a frown eyebrows. He's obviously looked angry.

"Khun phi. Please. I want to be your whole universe. I wanted to be your one and only person that seat on your heart. I cant fulfill my responsibilities entirely if a part of you still dont accept me. Tell me everything that you've keeping from me, khun phi ...". Gulf gripped Mew's black polo t-shirt tightly, afraid that Mew will run away from him.

Mew stared at Gulf's eyes for a long time. He was hesitated. His expression gradually turned sad, and it affect Gulf's emotions completely.

"... I dont have any secrets, yai nong. I only have you in me...". Said Mew, with a soft voice that he rarely did.

Im sorry .. Not now, Gulf ... not now ....

"Khun Phi!!". The raising voice from Gulf made Mew felt more terrible.

While caressed Mew's face with a force, Gulf said, "This is clearly a rejection, P'Mew. You push me away-".

Mew reacts fast after hearing Gulf's misunderstanding words by holding firmly the younger's biceps.

"Hey, look at me in the eyes, yai nong". Gulf tried to escape, but it just made Mew's grip went more tighter.

"I said look at me!". Mew said loud and clear and it succeed in making Gulf turned silent.

"I love you. I cant live without you. Arent those words mean anything to secure your feelings? All this time, what I did for you, does that look that Im gonna throw you away? NEVER. I will never let you go, Nong Gulf". Mew's eyes was as sharp as a knife, that barely cut through Gulf's steel heart.
