Esme Anne Platt was a small girl who was born in the year 1895 in Columbus Ohio. She was the only child of Mr and Mrs Platt (unknown first names) she had a very happy childhood. Her family adored her and loved her. Her childhood dream was to become a teacher and teach young children.
When she was 15 years old, she was climbing a tree in her back yard and fell out of it. She broke her leg and was rushed into the hospital. The local doctor wasn't in at the time but luckily she was treated by another doctor called Dr Carlisle Cullen. Esme fell in love with Carlisle and they were friends during Esme's stay at the hospital. When Esme went home she was so upset to leave.
Esme still really wanted to become a teacher but her mother begged her to stay and get married and have a family.
Esme found a man. He was really nice when they were away, but when they got home Esme's husband Charles Evenson was an abusive husband. He would physically and mentally hurt Esme.
Esme complained to her mother but her mother just said 'Esme Anne Platt! Just stay at home and be a good house wife.' Esme listened to her mother, but when they needed people to join for WW1, Esme was so glad that they signed Charles to the army.
Esme enjoyed her 4 years of peace without Charles. But when he returned home from the War, Esme was now longer happy. She wanted him to disappear. The night times where her favourite time of the day because Charles would fall asleep out of tiredness from abusing Esme.
Only 3 weeks after Charles came back from the First World War, Esme found out she was pregnant. She didn't want her baby to be raised in a violent family so she grabbed the keys from the table one night and escaped, not leaving a note or anything to where she might be.
Esme was in the newspapers but she luckily escaped to her aunt's home. But when Charles found out where she was, he fled their. Just before he found her, she fled again. To somewhere different. This carried on for about 6 months when Charles gave up and lost hope. Esme now stared as a War Widow and gave birth 3 months later.
Unfortunately, only after 3 days of Esme's baby boy's life he passed away due to a lung fever.
Thinking she had no other reason for living, Esme jumped off of a cliff and attempted suicide. Luckily enough, Carlisle found her and took her to the hospital.
Remembering the young happy girl Esme was 10 years ago when Carlisle treated her for a broken leg, Carlisle changed Esme and let her join Carlisle and Edward in the Cullen Coven.
Esme did not feel bad for Carlisle. All she did was thank him. Carlisle was surprised at this action.
Edward was now called Esme's brother.
Soon enough, Esme and Carlisle fell in love and eventually got married and had Edward as Carlisle's best man.
The family was complete.
Until more came.
