He's kinda quirky.
The first thought that entered my head when I saw him. He had a rather large nose with scandalous eyebrows. He had piercing green eyes that reminded me of emeralds that could be worn on a crown. A princess could pull off such an object and only a princess. I felt like royalty staring into those eyes. His eyebrows were rather sharp. They were slick like bark on a tree covered in sap. His chin was masculine. It made the most manliest man in the world look feminine and weak. It reminded me of a mountain covered in smooth yet bulky rocks. His eyes, I was drawn to them again. He looked me in the eye and I think I was in love. My heart started racing and my face felt red and hot. I've never felt this way before about anyone. I smiled and broke my eye contact with him from embarrassment.
"Why look away? Don't be afraid to look my way my love." He said reaching for my hand. I yanked it away quickly. I knew he wasn't my type yet here I was. I looked down at him. He smirked at me slyly like a fox. His nostrils flared with determination. I knew he wanted me but I needed to play hard to get. I wasn't about let him take advantage of me. I took a sip of my seltzer water and scooted a bit in my chair. We stayed silent for a few moments. I peeked a glance back over at him to see if he was still interested. He was looking right at me. His eyes were filled with longing and desperation.
"I can't do this..." I murmured softly. "I'm not ready for a relationship with someone such as yourself. I don't deserve you." I turned away quickly a tear ran down my face. He reached across the table. He wiped my tear away with his red cloak.
"Please don't cry my love. Though you may think that our love is inevitable, it will always remain in here." He said pointed a finger to heart. He looked at me with a sorrowful glance, his emerald eyes turned to a sad grass colored shade.
"You've hurt me before, how come I know it won't happen again?" I asked gently pushing his hand off my cheek.
"I never realized your true beauty back then. I was different back then! I swear I've changed my love and it was all for you." He replied grabbing my hand and clasping it between both of his. "Please, I can make this work." I felt sorry for bringing up his past intentions. I looked back at him with pleading eyes.
"I need you." I said to him as tears started streaming down my face. He started crying as well. I reached across the table and wiped the tears away from his face and brushed his black locks behind his ear.
"Let's go home Gingy." Farquhar turned to me. We got up. He grabbed my hand. I've never been so relieved and healed in my life. We walked out of the tavern together and into a new beginning.
