DEAR DEATH [part 3]
dedicated to blacksavagexxxdear death,
i owe you a lot. without you, i wouldn't be doing what keeps me alive these days: writing. you can bring out both the best and the worst out of people and it amazes me. you took a tiny soul in your arms. it had 'a life too short'. and that left me with just memories and sorrow. you taught me two things: no death is too small to be sad over and caging one's emotions isn't the best way of grieving. in this way, the girl who believed she was incapable of writing, later made words her only source of escape, her source of survival. now, i'm using the lesson you taught to me to thank you in all these letters. it's bittersweet, isn't it? just like you.
your beloved,
SweetSimu.«p.s. "a life too short" is my first poem about my little dead puppy.»
