Chapter 1

I woke up to the sound of my mom yelling, "GET THE FUCK UP YOU BRAT YOU'RE GOING TO BE LATE FOR SCHOOL". I moaned as I rolled over and fell out of bed onto the floor "Ow my head"I say as I get up "I SAID GET THE FUCK UP" she yells again. As I get up "GET THE FUCK UP" she yells as I walk to my dresser and try not to yell back. I grab my Blood on the Dance Floor shirt a pair of black shinny jeans and some socks and Then walk over to my desk to find my beanie, then I head down stairs. When I get down there I find my dad on the couch and smelling of alcohol out cold, my mom was in a fit of rage. Picking up empty beer cans and cursing under her breath, "fucking Drunk drinking all night and day" I don't say anything as I walk to the kitchen table to grab my backpack and try not to get in her way. "I don't need to get hit again and lie to my friends" I think as I grab my backpack and head out the door towards the bus stop.

It's a twenty minute walk to the bus stop, when i got there I was greeted by my friends Scarlett and Luke "hey James" they said as they saw me. "Hey guys " I said with a yawn as I sat on the bench next to them "what did you do over the weekend" I ask "slept in Saturday Sunday I won't say"Scarlett said "OK" I say as I start to laugh. (here's a description of Scarlett she has hazel eyes and black hair with green and pink hi-lights she has a piercing in her bottom lip the right side and her ears are pierced) I turn to Luke "the usual" he says " Scarlett bursts into laughter "so master bating " she says while dying of laughter. "No" said Luke as I started to laugh "I didn't mean that" he said but we weren't listening we were too caught up in laughing. when we were finally done the bus pulled up and we went in found some seats. I sat in the back by myself and starred out the window, after awhile we stop again and I feel someone sit down next to me I looks over to see my friend Justin "hey" he says as I try not to blush I want to say hey but that's not what comes out " helepy" I say as he starts to laugh "what's your problem today" he says," well I" I start to say when the bus driver suddenly baeaks hard and my head hits the seat in front of me." You ok " he says "ya" I say as I try not to cry. After awhile we made it to school. I headed towards my locker with my backpack to get my books for first period. as I aprotch my locker I was greeted by someone I really didn't wanna see today. "hey shithead" I ignore him (by the way this is deric, he's a dushbag jock. And sence third grade its been his favorite pass time to ether beat me to a bloody mess, or publicly humiliate me)

"hey I'm talking to you", I kept egnoring him as I grabbed my books and closed my locker. As I tried to walk away he grabbed the back of my shirt and threw me agents the locker. "I was talking to you" he said annoyed, "what do you want deric" I said as he smiled the creepyest smile I've seen from him yet. "There we go" he said as he puntched me in the gut and I fell to the floor " that's for not answering me" as he picked me up by my caler and punched me again "and that's for me not being able to find you yesterday". I tried to get backup but he kicked me, then tryed to find my wallit. When he found it was empty ofcorese " where's your money goth boy" he said annoyed "get away from him" a voice said as I look up to see Luke, Scarlette, and Justin standing in front of me " what are you gonna do" he as luke helped me up "I'm not done wi..." he was intrupted by Justin punching him dead in the face he hit the floor with a thud. " you hit me " he said as he got back up holding his bleeding nose " hurts doesn't it " Justin said sarcastically " I'll get you for that you little fucker" Deric said as he ran twords the nurse's office.
