"Yeah, like I'm gonna believe that."~Sam laughs as we walk hand in hand down the street.
"How was London anyway?"~Sam
"The best trip I've had in years, seriously. Apart from the fact I was third-wheeling the majority of it."~Madi
"That's shit."~Sam
"I know, Teddy didn't even invite Archer, she just showed up."~Madi
"Poor you."~Sam says as we reach my front door. I walk in, him following after me as my entire family sit in the living room.
"Madeline, finally."~Mom says as Sam shuts the door behind him.
"Everyone knows Sam."~I say as everyone greets him.
"I don't."~Teddy
"Timothée this is my boyfriend Sam, Sam this is my best friend Timothée."~I say as he shakes Sam's hand, rather wearily.
"How many times is this time then Madeline?"~Dad asks as I flick his ear.
"Very funny."~Madi
"You guys are on and off again like a light."~Archer
"And you and Teddy aren't? You're more bipolar than me at work."~Madi. She slaps my knee roughly as my Mom scolds her.
"Archer, stop hitting your sister. It's no wonder she's always out."~Mom
"Thank you."~I smile, plopping on the sofa beside my younger sister as Sam sits down in front of me.
"Okay, seriously though, how many times is it this time?"~Dad
"Like the 900th."~Macey says and makes the family.
