The next few days was awkward and tense in the office. Taehyung was confused about his feelings, his actions. And Jungkook, well, Jungkook was ashamed. Ashamed that he lost his cool. In front of Taehyung of all people. He didn't know what came over him. That almost never happened. He admits that he overreacted, but what he can't understand is why.

Nevertheless, the two only talked about work, and even that had it's limits. The tension was so thick that it was almost suffocating. It was only a few days before the anniversary, so everyone was extremely busy. They didn't have time for lunch, let alone talking about non-work related things.

"Mr. Kim, can you please escort Mr. and Mrs. Min to reception." Jungkook asks, ever the professional, after a long meeting regarding the new project that would take place in July.

"Of course. This way please." Taehyung said, internally sighing. He was tired of the tension. He wanted to apologize, but his pride was standing in the way.

On his way back up to Jungkook's office, he put on his usual charming smile and flirted here and there with a female worker. He couldn't help himself. It was his comfort zone. But when he caught sight of a familiar orange-head, his smile dropped and he gritted his teeth.

'He's here again' he thought with a dangerous glint in his eyes. He's seen him often these last few days. Bringing Jungkook lunch, taking him home etc. It was getting annoying. 'Why can't he just leave Jungkook alone' he thought.

"Arrgghhh, whatever. I don't care." he mumbled under his breath, making a detour to go get himself coffee.

After taking an unnecessary long time to make coffee, he made his way back to the office. However, he wasn't prepared for the sight that greeted him...
