" Hey , hiiii " I said excitedly as I went inside the house and saw my cousin sitting their with her laptop.
She kept her laptop aside and hugged me.
" I can't believe you're here " she said in an American ascent.
I'm right now in Sacramento , US , visiting my relatives with my parents. I have holidays from college so my parents decided to visit here as it's been a long time.
" So did you learn Hindi?? " I asked her
" I understand Hindi but speaking it , is like next level " she said while going to the kitchen
I stood beside her.
" I'm the same height as you " I said with a proud smile.
" Hehe , ya last time you visited was when you're in class 9th..so of course you'll grow dumbo" Gayu said.
Later in the evening
Everyone was sitting in the living room , chit-chatting and catching up with others while Gayu and me were getting bored. Maybe Gayu's mom would have noticed us
" Gayu why don't you take Naira for a walk?? You know the shops that are nearby?? " Gayu's mom said
I mentally thanked God.
" Ya why not , c'mon naira " Gayu said
We went upstairs to changed our clothes.

Naira's outfit
I wore a white top with black denim shorts and sneakers. I always want to be comfortable with my footwear until and unless it's a party or something special.
We went there by walking as it was just 5 mins away. It was like a mini mall where there were shops inside the building and outside it and there were many restaurants , there was a huge fountain which was connected with a artificial small stream , which was in turn dividing the area and was connected by a small bridge.
We were walking here and there cause I literally had no idea where to go but then suddenly I felt a tug.
I saw Gayu getting excited
" Why are you doing this" I asked her in whisper
" Check out!! The popular , handsome boy is walking toward us " she said bubbling with excitement.
I looked towards him , I can't disagree with Gayu on that. He was wearing simple clothes and his hair were gelled on one side and his dark brown orbs , he looks Indian.
" What is his name?? " I asked
" Kartik Goenka " she said
" Why are you asking?? " She said looking towards me teasingly
I just shrugged my shoulders and looked on the other side walking over the bridge and turning to the opposite direction and leaving him behind. I don't know but I had a feeling that he looked towards me not once but twice.
This building was circular .
" Hey Gayu , you're in my English class rt?? " a voice said
We looked in that direction
" Yy...yes Kartik we are" Gayu stammered.
Kartik walked to us.
" What are you doing here?? And who is this beautiful??" Kartik said
Flirty , isn't he!! And I hate him!! But he's so cute , no Naira no!!
I was battling with my brain.
" She's my cousin Naira , she's from India" Gayu said
" Hello Naira , I'm Kartik " he said forwarding his hand
Naira took his hand in a handshake
" Mucho Gusto! " Naira said
" Great , you know Spanish" Kartik said surprisingly and impressed
What the hell was I thinking , why did I speak in Spanish , to impress him?
I just nodded.
" Why don't we go and eat something" Kartik said
Gayu immediately agreed without asking me , so we just followed him to Starbucks.
" What do you wanna have" kartik asked me
" I don't know , moreover I forgot to bring my money" I said hesitating
" It's fine , I'll pay" he said
OMG!! Can't he get any cuter and generous
We decided our orders and then Kartik brought it.
" So tell me something about you" he asked me
I hated to tell people about myself until unless I really know them , no sooner I was going to speak , some boys came over our table.
" Hey Kartik!! " One boy with blond hair said
" Hey bro!!" Kartik stood up and hugged him
Just then I noticed his body , it was well built.
They all sat there at our table , so I was stuck between Kartik and one other guy , actually Kartik has to go somewhere with them so they were waiting for him to finish his food and drink
Kartik then stood up
" It was nice to meet you Naira , hope we'll see each other again" Kartik said with a charming smile
He then left with his friends and Gayu and me proceeded to home
