My POV

Lucy sits up on her rooftop at night. The stars are beautiful. She never really gets to see them in the city, with all the lights on all night so the stars down really show. She always wanted to see them. Someone comes home behind her.

" Your out pretty late " He said. Lucy turns around to see the boy with pink hair. " Hey " She said boredly, as she turned her attention back to the night sky. He takes a seat next to her. " Okay so what's your deal? " He asked. Lucy turns her head to him

" What do you mean? " She asked, sounding a bit offended. " What's your deal? Why are you here? " He asked making the question a bit more clear. " Why do I have to have a deal? Can't I just wanna be here? " She asked. " I know you don't " He said.

" How? Please explain " She said. He chuckled. " You just tried to escape not to long ago " He said. " And? " She asked. " And it's only just your first day " He said sarcastically. " Maybe I was homesick " She said. " Were you? " He asked. Lucy sighed. " No " She said.

He laughed. " Then tell me what's your deal " He said. " What about you? " Lucy asked turning her whole body to face him. " What about me? " He asked. " What's your deal? I heard that you've been here every summer " She said. He ruffled up her hair.

" I'll tell you, after you tell me your story " He said. Lucy pouts. She hates it when people mess up her hair. She sighed. " Deal " She answered. " Now we're getting somewhere " Natsu smiled. " Well, when I was a little kid I was really nice, believe it or not " She said.

" I choose not to " Natsu shrugged. Lucy giggled. " It's the truth, but anyways. I found out that my father and my mom hated each other. My dad was in the Mafia business, so Of course he made me train so I can replace him when I got older " She said.

" Most people think this is the part where my mom gets mad at my dad and takes me away, but it's not. This made my mom attracted to my dad for some unknown reason so they got married again. But when they did I never got any attention at all " She shrugged.

Lucy figured Natsu would have gotten bored of her, but on the contrary. His eyes were glued onto her, he was listening to every word that comes out of her mouth. Paying attention to every detail of the story, not missing a beat. Lucy took a small pause before continuing the next part.

" I started to do bad things. Like hurt people, and steal things I already had. I got into a lot of fights and was a really bad person. People shamed me for it. But instead of feeling remorse, I felt really good " She said as a smile grew on her face.

" These things made me happy beyond comprehension. So I just keep doing these mean and aweful things to feel happy. " She said, her smile faded away. " But my parents didn't approve of this. They blamed me for their divorce, and thought I needed to be re-taught everything. So they send me here " She said.

Natsu saw the look of sadness in her eyes. But the expression changed to excited. " That's my story on why I'm here though! It's your turn! Why did you come here every summer?! " She asked leaning in to hear his story. For some reason he really excited her.

He sighed. " You really wanna know? " He asked. Lucy nodded vigorously, like a happy puppy. Natsu blushed a little, thinking of how cute she looked. He cleared his throat. " Okay fine I'll tell ya then " He said. Lucy cheered quietly, since it's night time and everyone else is sleeping.

" So when I was a little boy, I really wanted a cat. But not just any cat. It was blue! " He said. " Really? " Lucy asked. He nodded. " I didn't know how it was blue, but it was. I saw it on the way home from school at the pet store everyday " He said.

" I always looked in the window and there it was. My mom told me I couldn't have it because my father was sick and he needed the money " He said. " Once my father got better, he left me and my mom, and now is a famous business man. Then my mom got into drinking " He said.

" She got a boyfriend, and he used for beat on her all the time. When I turned 15 I fought him back for her, thinking my mom would be proud of me, and forgive me for all the bad things I did to people's just cause I was mad at my father " He shrugged.

" I used to bully kids at my old school, and mess with them for no reason at all. But when I beat up my mom's boyfriend for her, she was just mad at me. So she kept sending me here. And I've come here every summer " He shrugged. " Did you ever get the cat? " Lucy asked.

I just told her that whole story and she's still stuck on the cat. " No I never got the cat " He said. Lucy frowned, making Natsu chuckle a little. " What's so funny? " She asked with a raised eyebrow. " Nothing " He said while holding his hands up in surrender.

" You sure are one scary lady " He said. Lucy rolled her eyes at him and starts staring at the nights sky. Natsu stayed next to her. For some reason they were drawn to one another.
