Milo Healy was a happy kid. Growing up in Liverpool was nice, he's parents weren't rich but they lived well enough in a two-story house. He had a nice group of friends, played football and since he was a little boy music had been a constant in his life seeing his dad was a musician. However, everything changed on the day of his eleventh birthday. A lady in her 60s, who he learned was Professor McGonagall, showed up at his house with a letter from a special school, Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. At first, neither he nor his parents could believe, but looking back to all the weird things that followed his son they come to terms with the fact that Milo was a wizard. So, on the morning of September 1st 1971, his parents happily accompanied him through Kings Cross station. There, he met Lily Evans, a girl who was like him, a muggle-born, that's what the magic folk called the witches and wizards who were born in a non-magic family. Together they crossed the brick wall, entering platform 9 and ¾. Seeing they didn't know anyone else, the 2 kids sat together in a compartment inside the train that would take them to Hogsmead and then Hogwarts. Lily and Milo became fast friends, bonding over being muggle-borns. They spent the first hour talking about their favourite tv shows, books and bands, both sharing love over The Beatles.

When the second hour of their train ride four boys entered the compartment and asked if they could sit with them seeing every other one was full. Lily, being the polite girl she was, said yes immediately, That's where James obsession with the red-head began.

The trip to Hogwarts was mesmerizing, Milo was starstruck with the boats that rowed themselves.

The Sorting Hat ceremony was weird, or so he thought when he saw that an old and smelly hat would decide in what house he would be put in, was a concept he couldn't quite understand. He had hoped he would be put in the same house as Lily because she was the only friend he had in there, but his prayers weren't met seeing he had been placed in Hufflepuff and Lily in Gryffindor. Luckily, that did not affect their friendship.

The years passed and the four boys with whom he shared a compartment in the train on his first year, raised to fame, being known around the castle as The Marauders, a group of troublemakers composed by Sirius Black, the heartthrob, Remus Lupin, the smart one (and also a werewolf, something Milo discovered in his second year but never said anything, it wasn't any of his business and, as far as he knew, he never hurt anyone), Peter Pettigrew, the shy one, and last but not least, James Potter, the jock and Lily-obsessed one. Milo remained an average Hufflepuff, at least for Gryffindors and Slytherins, for the Hufflepuffs and Ravenclaws, the boy was pretty famous, he was a sweet and caring guy, who played the guitar and had a beautiful voice. On his second year, the boy had taken his guitar to school and was singing and playing a song he had written when his roommates heard him. They immediately introduced him to a third-year muggle-born Ravenclaw, Michaela King, who was looking for people to start a band with. She already had a bass player, a guitar player (both Hufflepuffs) and a drummer (herself), so, when Kevin McAvoy, one of Milo's roommates, introduced Milo to Michaela, and when the latter heard the Hufflepuff sing, their band was officially formed. And so Milo Healy (3rd year - voice and acoustic guitar), Michaela 'Mike' King (4th year - drums), Kevin McAvoy (3r year - bass) and Alexander 'Alec' Fray (4th year - electric guitar) became WHIPLASH, the first all muggle-born band in the history of Hogwarts. It was sort of a secret band, they rehearsed in the Room of Requirement every Friday after school and on Saturdays.

Contrary to popular belief, Ravenclaws were quite wild and nearly every Saturday threw a party on their dorms and usually, they always invited the Hufflepuffs. So WHIPLASH became their resident band.

So, that's how he spent his third and fourth year, flying under the radar to the Gryffindors and Slytherins. But that all changed when James Potter caught Milo singing a love song to his beloved Lily Flower.
