Takisha found herself in a tense situation as she listened to approaching footsteps. Acting quickly, she vanished into one of the broken lockers, concealed from view. The footsteps drew nearer, and she soon recognized Rhazien, the scientist who had requested the photoshoots of new elemental monsters across Millerville. Accompanying him was his partner, an accomplice in whatever they were planning. They paused momentarily, engaged in a conversation that Takisha strained to hear.
Takisha: Peering from the broken locker, she whispers What are they up to, and why are they discussing this secretly?
Rhazien: Annoyed Enough with the distractions! We need more powerful energy sources from these elemental monsters! Your crew needs to capture stronger specimens!
Rhazien's Assistant: Sir, there's a limitation. The elemental monsters here in Millerville aren't strong enough to power our Destructo-bot 2050. The wildlife doesn't provide sufficient space for larger elemental species, and many have fallen from the floating islands. Takisha: (Destructo-bot 2050? What kind of project is that?)
Rhazien: What do you mean there's no space? I've collected weak, drained elemental monsters and exhausted their energy for my project. Send more than fifty crews to search for larger and stronger elemental monsters out there!
Rhazien's Assistant: But, sir, what about the photographers you hired? Rhazien: I've sent three photographers to scour unexplored areas for new elemental monsters. One teenage boy found samples from the Soloba. You'll find it!
Takisha: Whispering Soloba? What kind of elemental monster is that?
Rhazien: Upgrade your gear, and search even deeper into the wilderness. If you find something significant, report it. You'll keep doing this task.
Rhazien's Assistant: Sighs Yes, sir. And what's the progress on the Destructo-bot 2050? Rhazien: We'll see how much time it needs to be completed. Receives a message on his wrist phone Ah, a message about seven captured elemental monsters being sent in. Rhazien's Assistant: Hopefully, they're stronger than what we have.
Rhazien: Focus on your work! Let's not be seen entering this restricted room!
The scientists glanced around, ensuring their privacy, before entering the restricted door and locking it securely. Takisha, undeterred, opened the door with determination. Beyond it were stairs leading downstairs, unveiling a secret room. As she descended, she was met with a collection of old, finished paperwork, representing Rhazien's past failed projects. It dawned on her that this scientist had experienced multiple failures and had left these abandoned projects to languish.
While exploring, she heard eerie screeches emanating from the lower level, sparking both curiosity and a sense of unease. She pressed on, carefully making her way to the source of the sounds.
Behind large crates, Takisha concealed herself, quietly observing. In front of her, workmen were constructing a formidable robot, draining elemental monsters' energies to power it. Shocked and disturbed, Takisha realized that Rhazien's intention was to exploit these elemental monsters for technological advancements. This grim discovery provided insight into why the scientist sought bigger, stronger, and more agile elemental monsters.
Determined to uncover more, Takisha continued her observation. Sketches on the wall depicted futuristic buildings and structures, suggesting a plan for colonization. Further drawings detailed aircraft, indicating the scientist's ambitions for building a powerful army. Takisha grappled with the realization that this scientist harbored sinister designs for Millerville.
As she contemplated her next move, Takisha was suddenly confronted by a burly security guard—an ally of Rhazien.
Security Guard: Your games end here, young lady.
Takisha: Gasps. Security Guard: Striking Takisha with an iron rod, she fell unconscious. Hey, boss, look who I found—a spy!
Rhazien: Recognizing Takisha Well, well, if it isn't the teenage girl I was tasked with photographing new elemental monsters. You and your friends were meant to discover elemental monsters more powerful than the common ones my men found.
Takisha: Stirring weakly and collapsing.
Security Guard: What should we do with her? Should I eliminate her?
Rhazien: No, lock her up. I don't need the press pestering me with questions about missing individuals and spreading rumors.
Security Guard: Understood. Where should I put her? Rhazien: Take her to the cell room. Keep her confined until we decide what to do.
The security guard hoisted Takisha and, under Rhazien's orders, concealed her body under a sheet used for carrying heavy loads. He aimed to keep her presence discreet while traversing the science center's first floor, protecting her from prying eyes.
Once outside, near the edge of the floating island, the security guard made a drastic decision. He lifted the unconscious Takisha, intending to dispose of her over the edge into the vast expanse below. As he let her fall, a sudden gust of wind caught her body, altering her trajectory. Unbeknownst to anyone, a mysterious and unidentified creature observed the scene from the shadows.
The creature swiftly leaped across to another floating island, its curiosity piqued by the unfolding events. As the security guard left the scene, the creature lingered, its intentions and identity shrouded in secrecy.
