After a few hours, I couldn't get any ounce of sleep

After a few hours, I couldn't get any ounce of sleep. I couldn't even close my eyes due to curiosity of what was the 'lights off' Jay was talking about earlier. And I wasn't even tired at all, maybe because I just slept earlier and they didn't put a spell on me or something to help me fall asleep as if they really want me to go out and see what's happening when all the lights are off.

Well, dumb of them to think I have some little courage to go outside and see what it is, I'm for sure there's gonna be something out there that I won't be able to process out or something that will give me nightmares every night.

When I was about to pull the blankets and cover myself with it, I was interrupted by a crying voice, "H-help me" the voice cried out weakly which gave me a shivering feeling, looking at every corner of the room, wondering where the voice came from.

Until someone knocked at the door and cried once again, "Help me please!" The voice said half-yelling, as if they are in panic and in a hurry. If I can compare the voice from the voices of the guys I met earlier, I can say that it is different. This one is small, with a higher pitched tone. Or more like from a kid...

My mind debated whether to open the door to see who it was. I went out from the bed and walked towards the giant door. As I placed my hands on the doorknob, contemplating whether to twist it open or not, but then I realized, who was this kid afterall?

"W-who are you? How did you get in here?" I asked weakly but enough for my voice to be heard in his vicinity. And then he answered in a hurry, "M-my name is Vince, please let me inside your room! It's dark in here!"

I cleared my throat nervously, and my hand started to shake as I slowly twist the doorknob open but then I stopped midway when he added, "Hurry please! And get the pink blanket on top of your bed! I am freezing here!"

I looked back to the bed and saw blanket I was using earlier. And it was pink. Right. It was pink. "How did you know the blanket was pink?" I asked, still looking at  the pink blanket on top of the bed.

Suspiscious, the kid didn't answer, and he suddenly stopped crying. I placed my ears closer to the door so that I can hear any signs of him outside but I only heard pure silence. My mind was so confused, did I just hallucinate the kid? Am I hearing something wrong?

I jolted out of shock when I suddenly heard a banging sound on the door. As if someone was banging his head on the door from the outside. Instinctively, I took a step backwards, afraid to what was behind that door. The loud noise continued, and it was so loud it could be heard even from the highest floor of this doll house. My mind malfunctioned and my soul felt like it already left my body once the lock on the door suddenly unlocked on its own.

"Stop!! This is all just a dream!!" I said, starting to panic as I closed my eyes shut, hoping that this is all just a dream, a nightmare perhaps.

An eerie sound was all over the room as I heard the door opened. My eyes are still closed. Whatever that may be, I don't want to see it. I don't know what it was, but I was for sure that it wasn't a human kid.

When the eerie sound already begone and nothing seemed to be happening. My eyes automatically opened on its own, slowly. And I saw nothing in front of me even if the door is already open. I looked around the room and saw nothing but the same room I was in earlier. Then I looked back to the opened door, and outside was an open spaced area with nothing but filled with darkness.

I was afraid to go out, and even afraid to walk towards the door and close it again. Until some spotlight suddenly appeared on the very end of the open-space area. It was too bright for me to see and was too blurry, until after a few seconds, it became clear. A silhouette of five men figures, being hanged on a wooden platforrm as if they were too light that even that small, weak platform can hold all of them at once.

But what I am surprised the most is when their body parts suddenly started to fall off. Starting from their feet, knees, hips, wrist, elbows, shoulders until only their heads were the ones hanging. It seemed like whenever a few seconds passed by while I was looking at them, my view gets clearer. I covered my mouth using my hands, to further stop myself from screaming when I noticed the face of one out of the five men being hanged.

It was as obvious as could possibly be. I'm not mistaken. It was the face of the guy in the pajamas who warned me to lock myself in my room and not to go outside when the lights went off earlier. Jay.... He was staring right at me, and his eyes were so lonely and pathetic, a few seconds later, a tear fell down from his eyes.

The sight of his tears streaming down his cheeks is what made me ask myself... why does a doll like him, crying?
