Moving In and Coming Out

It's a nice autumn day, and siblings Amore and Yeoja have just moved into their home; a not-too-shabby house in the middle of downtown Tokyo. Amore sighs, clapping his hands free of dust as he looks around his room before looking at his display case, holding priceless figures from different animes he won at an anime convention. It holds Izuku Midoriya, Son Goku, Naruto Uzumaki, Vegeta and Sasuke Uchiha, among others. Amore glares at them before remembering what's missing.

"Yeoja? Did you take my Bakugo figure again??" Amore asks.

"Sorry, big bro! He just looks so cute!" Yeoja chirps.

"Give it back." Amore snarls.

"Come take it back!" Yeoja taunts.

"If you scratch that figure, I am going to murder you." Amore retorts, walking to Yeoja's room.

As soon as he opens the door, Yeoja boops Amore's nose, shocking him with a static shock.

"KNEEL BEFORE CHRIST!" Yeoja cheers before handing him the figure. "Here ya go."

Amore takes the figure back.

"Thanks." Amore states before turning around.

"Not even a hug?" Yeoja asks, genuine sadness stinging her voice.

Amore sighs. "We aren't kids anymore, Yeoja."

Amore takes one step, and Yeoja hugs Amore from behind, tearing up.

"I'm aware. I just want you to love me again." Yeoja states.

"Rephrase." Amore instantly replies.

"I want you to play with me like when we were younger." Yeoja rephrases.

"Yeoja..." Amore groans, tapping her head to make her let go.

Amore turns around, and he takes a deep breath.

"Listen to me. Why won't you make any friends at any schools we go to?" Amore asks.

"I really only want you." Yeoja admits.

"Rephrase." Amore instantly responds.

"I just want to be friends with you." Yeoja rephrases.

"Yeoja. I'm not going to be around forever." Amore bluntly states. "If you don't make new friends, you'll be alone for the rest of your life."

"But... b-but... I dunno if I can trust anyone else..." Yeoja cries.

"Don't cry. I'm sorry for making you cry. We have school tomorrow. Please try not to embarrass me." Amore explains.

"But big brooootheeeeeerrrrrrr, embarrassing you is the best part~~!" Yeoja chirps.

"Yea, well, you're not gonna embarrass me this time." Amore snaps.

"Are you going through puberty???" Yeoja asks condescendingly.

"I've already went through it and meanwhile you act like you haven't even heard of it." Amore states, making Yeoja giggle and kiss Amore's cheek.

"G'ni~ight!" Yeoja cheers, closing the door to her room.

Amore sighs, a smile creeping to his face.

"I couldn't be mad at you if I tried." Amore states, looking at the figure in his hand for any scratches.

Not a scratch or mark to be seen. Amore sighs and walks to his room, placing the figure next to Midoriya's. Amore whistles "Renai Circulation" as he flops onto his bed.

"Another day, another migraine." Amore sighs before falling asleep.
