We see The Mystery Machine driving down a road during a light dust storm. Some rock music is playing on the radio. Ruby was driving instead of Fred or Shaggy or anyone from Mystery Inc. Scooby had his head sticking out the passenger window as he howled to the tune of the music. Shaggy was sitting in-between the two
"Like, rock on, Scoob!"Shaggy said to his canine companion
Scooby then pulled his head in and closed the window and the three friends bopped to the music. Yang woke up from the music and poked her head out from the back
"Could you guys keep it down?" Yang asks sounding really tired rubbing her eyes slightly with her robotic arm after putting it on
"We're trying to get some sleep back here." Velma adds
"Like, we were gonna wake you up in a minute anyways, there's a town coming up and we need to stop for some chow." Shaggy responds
"But we just had dinner 2 hours ago." Fred responds looking at his wrist watch
"Yeah and like, that's about 14 hours in dog-time." Shaggy responds
"And all this driving is making me a little hungry." Ruby adds
"Reah." Scooby replied as he chuckled
The dust storm then went from a light dust storm to a rough dust storm
"This dust storm's really picking up." Yang said pointing out the windshield with her regular arm
"I can't see a thing." Ruby said as she tried to navigate through the dust storm
Due to being lost however, she turns onto a really bumpy road with a sign that says "GOVERNMENT PROPERTY. NO TRESPASSING!!!" in bold black letters. Mystery Inc., Ruby, and Yang are bumping around in The Mystery Machine due to how bumpy the road is that Ruby is driving on
"Hey, what's wit this road??" Fred asked bumping up and down in the back of The Mystery Machine
They then hear a high-pitched light humming sound
"And what in the hell is that sound?" Yang added
All of a sudden,a really bright light comes over The Mystery Machine making Ruby lose control after it leaves and eventually crashing the van into a cactus. After everyone got out, Fred, Velma, Daphne and Yang looked in the direction of hat looked like a spaceship went.
"What was that thing?" Yang asks
"Maybe it was some kind of a jet." Velma responds
"Didn't look like any ind of jet i've ever seen. Did you see how fast it was?" Fred adds
They hear a light hissing sound coming from The Mystery Machine's engine. Yang walks over and opens the hood only for her face to be met by a lot of smoke. After the smoke clears, Yang sees the radiator is busted.
"Well, the radiator's finished." Yang said closing the hood of The Mystery Machine
Fred looks over and sees a light from a town
"Hey, look, there's a town. It looks to be less than a mile away. Maybe we could get some help there." Fred says
"You want us to walk across the desert at night??" Shaggy asks
"Well, i'm not gonna carry you." Fred responds.
"But like, there's snakes and stuff out there!" Scooby responds
Scooby then started imitating a rattlesnake which made Ruby chuckle a little bit
"Well, I got an idea. How about Scoob and I stay to guard The Mystery Machine?" Shaggy asks
"Reah." Scooby adds
"That's a very brave thing to do Scooby, thank you." Velma says as she rubs Scooby's head
"Ryou're welcome." Scooby responds
Fred, Daphne, Velma, Yang, and Ruby walk off for the town Fred saw and leave Shaggy and Scooby with The Mystery Machine
"We'll be back with some help!" Daphne yells to the duo guarding The Mystery Machine
"And bring back some food, too!!!" Shaggy yells back
