"Mikasa hurry up! We're gonna be late to training!" Eren yelled.

Mikasa hurries from her quarters to catch up to Eren. She accidentally slept in by accident. Usually she's one of the first scouts on the field.

"Ha I beat you for once." Eren said with a snicker.

"Alright you won." Mikasa laughed.

"Guys Captain Levi is coming..." Armin said suddenly.

Eren, Mikasa, and Armin line up with their fellow comrades before Levi comes out.

"Good morning brats. Today you all will be training for a real battle if Titans invade the walls. If you are not willing to follow through with today's regiment I suggest you leave the Survey Corps in this moment. You must be prepared to give your life for the sake of humanity. There will be no second chances out there. Do I make myself clear?!" Levi announced.

"Yes, sir!" everyone responded.

"Alright then. Everyone follow Erwin to the outer part of the gates. We shall commence our battle exhibition training at once." Levi said.

Levi got a speck of dirt on his clock.
"Tch. Filth is just everywhere." Levi said bitterly as he brushed off the dirt and dust from his cloak.

Eren, Mikasa, and Armin all followed the squad on the outside. Mikasa kept looking at Eren making sure he was ok. The two months that had passed were grueling, but progressive. Eren seemed in better spirits.

"Alright everyone, follow Erwin on the outer part of the walls. Do not get left behind." Levi announced.

A few titans appeared in the distance as the squad.

"Ooh how exciting!!! We finally get to see some specimens!" Hange exclaimed.

"Would you keep it down? We aren't bringing any titans back right now." Levi spatted.

"But there is so much to still know about them. Their behavior, anatomy, and...."

"No. That's a final order." Levi said.

Hange pouted and followed along.

The squad rode up to a small sized titan and Levi got off his horse to do a brief demonstration.

Levi used his ODM gear hook to grapple to a nearby tree and cut the titans nape in a spiral fashion.

His arms were covered with blood afterwards.
"Ugh, this doesn't get any easier does it. I'll have to disinfect everything when I get back." Levi thought to himself.

The squad was amazed and awed with Captain Levi's skills.

"Alright get into groups of three, and find a titan to attack! Whatever you do don't panic or freeze up. This is your life you are putting on the line and this isn't a training dummy. Put your skills to work brats!" Levi yelled.

Eren, Mikasa, and Armin grouped together. Jean, Sasha, and Connie became a group. Lastly, Annie, Bertolt, and Reiner became a group.

"Alright let's go for the lean, medium sized one over there." Armin said.

"Alright, sounds like a plan." Eren said.

"Who is going to kill it? Or who wants to? We have to figure out who will distract and corner it." Mikasa said.

"I'll kill it." Eren said passionately.

"Alright then. I'll distract the titan by flying in front and ruffling the tree branches around me." Armin said.
