I look up a bit, seeing my baby girl. My eyes start watering as a kneel down to get close to her hight. I open my arms for her to hug me. And I hold her. Never wanting to let go.
"I've missed you. I'm so sorry princess. I love you so much." I whisper into Maes ear, while crying.
I stand up while holding her, I look to (y/n), "Come in." I smile backing away from the door so she could get in with Asher.
I set Mae on the floor in the living room, she runs to (y/n) asking for her diaper bag. (Y/n) walks into the living room setting the bag down and looking back up at me.
"Here." She hands me Asher.
I look down at the boy, and start crying again. God I'm the worst dad. I kiss his forehead.
Spencer walks into the room and jumps on the couch seeing the baby.
"Daddy you got a puppy?" Mae looks at spencer and smiles at him. "Yes I did princess, this is spencer!" She slowly sits down next to him and starts petting him. "He can be best friends with Barley and cooper!" I smile at her shaking my head yes.
"So what have you been up to?" I look at (y/n), "not much actually. The babies have taken over my life." She laughs. "I'm sorry... I'll be better. I promise." She smiles at me and kisses my cheek. "I know you will."
I look back at Mae and spencer, "Mae, what have you been up to?" She looks up at me and says "Colby and I watch you and mark on the tv!"
"what."
"Yeah!! Uncle Colby and I watch them allllll the time!!" She smiles at me. I turn to look at (y/n). "She doesn't watch the really bad ones.." She smiles at me and laughs.
"Daddy, can I be in one once?" Mae asks giving me puppy dog eyes. "I'm sure you can."
"YES!"
