after running home you looked up that perp from the ally-way. downing cup after cup of coffee you ended up staying up far to late. trying to learn more about that blond and blue eyed man that made you want to punch and kiss his face all at once. 

 getting seriously frustrated there was not enough info about this guy anywhere online. no social media and all you could get off his mothers facebox was hes a wonderful cook. other than that he was absolutely average. one thing stood out however, his job. it wasn't an unusual job but it was some-wear you could go to meet him.

tired of staying up late with him on your mind you finally made a date to find him. "ill figure out this kira guy one way or another." you sighed laying down on your bed. tossing around you finally got comfortable with a sigh, " damn idiot, can't get that perv out of my mind.." 

you blushed realizing you were looking at your hand. imagining it going over his cheek again and.. you stopped your thoughts dead in their tracks before things,, got out of hand. (i had to, lol) "dammit.." holding both your hands together you suppressed thoes thoughts. wondering what about him made you so angry and yet his eyes,, no! bad y/n! you sighed again trying to collect your thoughts, eventually going to sleep.

about a week passed and you were determined as hell. nobody gets a tuseday off work so you set aside a day off for today to meet kira again on tuesday. setting your google map to the nearest Kame Yu department store you were hyping yourself up. getting dressed in your most comfortable and fancy attire. basically your entire outfit spoke 'yeah im this good looking and im not even trying.'

taking one last look at your teeth you smiled to the mirror before heading off. his beat stuck in your heart as you hummed, and a pep in your step it was time to give kira a shot. for someone seemingly so plain online seeing him irl was a while new story. and something in that story drew you back to him. 

maybe it was his eyes,, the passion they held when excited. oh the way he would shiver when you held his hand. the simple blush on his face he would get from it and the way his lip nervously quivered as he struggled for his words. or maybe it was just that damn weird he liked hands so much.

either way you were standing outside the store just realizing how far you've fallen for a stranger. one simple interaction. you shook your head clear of the thoughts and headed inside. honestly you didn't think this part thought as much however. standing nervously by the entrance you half expected for him to arrive and tend to you or something. 

some others passed by you, bumping into you slightly letting you take a taste of reality. "sorry-" you said without much thought under your breath and bowed your head slightly. walking into the store you went thought the isles buying yourself time as you looked around for him.

"thank you, please come again." his voice sung in the background but it was all your ears picked up. speaking of picked up- you picked up whatever item was nearest and went over to the register. he was scanning items and didn't notice you get thankfully because oh boy guess what you picked up? big pink cat ears. blushing, you cursed not looking and before you knew it was your turn at the register.

"next-" he looked up to you, "oh..! y/n." he stood to attention again. his cheeks dusted a slight pink and it only made your red darken.

"hey kira." you said plainly, to embarrassed to say much anything else. putting the cat ears on the table you leaned on it slightly, trying to think of a pick up line before kira started again.

"will that be all? it's an odd choice, but i like the pink." he blushed a bit more looking down with softer eyes, scanning the item. 

fighting off your blush you looked around before taking him by the hand and pulling him close. with a whisper you took the cat ears from him, "actually im here for you." you put the ears on his head, "but you can keep the ears. they suit you better." 

you let go of him and moved off the counter, fixing your top slightly, "now that was a much better meet cute if you ask me." you looked u to him, "kira?" you waited for an answer but he was frozen with blush.

sighing you wrote down your number on a slip of paper, "call me for your next free day, im free friday if you want to be serious about this. i'd love to get to know you." giving him the slip of paper and about 300yen for the ears you moved to leave.

unfrezing kira took hold of your wrist, "wait!" you turned to look at him, curious to what his angle was. "you left your item in the store."

you raised a brow in confusion,  "i told you keep the cat ea-"

"no not that-" he blushed a bit frantic in his confession, "you came for me right? im free in five minutes if you got the time to wait."

turning more you smiled, "yeah i can wait." 

he gave you another smile, heading inside the store he went. you sat against the wall near the entrance. only once he was gone did you realize the blush on your face. putitng a hand to a warm cheek you cursed under your breath. this isn't what you wanted. was it? you didn't plan this out very well but in the middle of your worry he came out of the store in a new outfit and the softest smile.

"wanna go to my house? i was just about to start making dinner." 

snapped out of your worry you nodded without question then actually questioned, "wait why are you going to make dinner so early??"

starting to walk he said simply, "well i want to celebrate today so im going to make a big meal."

you nodded again and backed off the wall, staring to walk with him, "makes sense." you were bad at questioning things on time. "wait why are we celebrating." you walked a bit ahead to see his face as you questioned the blond male.

he had a slight blush on his cheeks, "you said we,, thats why im celebrating!" he turned his attention to you with a smile that made your heart skip a beat to many. you couldn't get out a single flustered word before he continued, "now that you bring it up i think i need to get some things, mind tagging along?" 

"i don't mind." you shrugged, "not like i would know where your house is anyway." 

kira snapped his fingers, "oh right- we should exchange numbers." he took out his phone as you both were outside the store now. "i don't want to to bore you with shopping so i can just text you directions."

he was to chill about this. the relaxed atmosphere was just another thing keeping you from questioning much. "oh sure, thats more convenient." you held out your phone to him and he gave you his. typing your number and email you gave yourslef a silly name in his phone.

exchanging phones again you could hear him chuckled at the name. "see you in a bit y/n, dinner should be ready by eight so you should come around then." 

you nodded with an nervous smile, holding the phone close you watched him walk off. with a sigh you ran back home in a rush to get ready for your first date with kira!
