Perseus drove straight through. Of course they stopped for food and bathroom breaks. At one point Thalia asked why they had never stopped for gas, but Perseus simply replied that the car no longer needed it. He powered it with his miasma, the corrupting mist that demons used to infect or destroy things around them.

At this, both Thalia and Luke looked at him a bit fearfully, but he waved it off telling them that he only let it affect the car. "Now if you run into a demon lower than a Baron class, the miasma will harm you because demons feed on the lifeforce of things inside of their miasma. Baron class and higher can control what their miasma affects. And before you ask, no I don't need to feed on lifeforce to survive. I'm the King. But anyways, all Baron class and up can sustain themselves on just the energy we absorb from Hell itself.

"So rankings go Lower class demons who are probably no stronger than your Hellhounds here, Mid class demons. I'd place these at probably a couple Cyclopes level. And then you have High class. They are probably around the strength of a youngling minor god. Then you start getting into the more powerful classes. Baron, Duke, Lord and then of course King or if the King dies naturally which almost never happens, you have King candadites. These can just randomly pop up from no where. Even a lower class demon can spontaneously get the power of a Demon King candadite.

"It's why we either pass on the throne directly or kill the former Demon King to ensure of that. It would be catastrophic if some random lower class demon suddenly had the abilities of a Lord class. The Dark Ages? Bubonic plague? Ice Age? Those things were the cause of that. Back then it was hard to keep natural control. Now, the Barons are as strong as the Lords were then, the Lords as strong as the Demon King and well, Demon Kings are far stronger. But if a former Demon King lives...that means he willingly gave over the throne. And in my case, my father could easily take it back.

"Let's get off that topic for now. I don't mind answering questions about it, but I prefer to do so in moderation."

Both Luke and Thalia quickly nodded their heads. If a high class demon, which was far below Perseus' level, was as strong as a minor god...what would happen if a Baron class came to Earth? What chance did they have?

"Thalia. Don't worry. Since the nineteen hundreds and a bit before, my father has had a strict rule of no direct influence on this world. We can come and go as we please, but we can not cause another large change on Earth. While my father and I do not agree on much, that is something I did back him on, even if our reasonings are different. Plus, you'd never fight a demon. There is a Hell which means there is a Heaven. Though God with a big 'G' isn't a thing anymore. Just like the original Lucifer isn't a thing anymore.

"They pretty much...well killed each other. It's just the angels and demons now. And their classes are similar to ours in strength but have different names. So don't worry. If one of my demons comes here and starts something. If I don't quash it, the angels will. Sami'el is the current reigning Head Angel. The three most powerful alternate each century so that they don't let the power go to their heads. The other two are Michael and Gabriel. But it shouldn't come to that. If I feel one of my kind start causing a problem, I will put it down because my father will come and that is not something anyone wants."

Thalia nodded. From the back seat Annabeth piped up, "Are we there yet? I'm so bored."

Perseus just smiled and looked at her in the rearview mirror. "No hun. We still have about five more hours. We'll be there after you fall asleep."

Annabeth just sighed. "Can you take the aging magic off me? If we are going to be here, I might as well grow up. It's weird that I know so much but still act like a child regularly. I doubt mom would even know who I am by now."
