geoff had recently graduated from high school and was studying to become a teacher. his professor assigned a project where each student had a school and a grade they had to teach at for one month. the brown haired boy got his former school, houston high. he was weirdly excited as this was his dream job
but didn't know how well it was actually gonna go.
in current time, geoff was clocking in as a substitute for pre-ap geometry, twelfth grade. since he was barely nineteen years old, he knew he was gonna get along/have a lot in common with these students.
right when he walked into the classroom, he found a green haired boy crying in the corner, he had a few dark bruises. "woah woah woah, what's wrong bud?" geoff crouched down and moved the green locks out of his eyes, the boy looked up and he looked frightened. "can you tell me your name?" he speaked softly, not wanting to scare him even more...."a-awsten" he mumbled, "well awsten, what are the-" before geoff could finish his question the boy was already sprinting out of the classroom in fear. shortly after that incident, the bell rang, signaling that class was about to begin.
