Chapter 2

Aiden's POV
It's been a few days since my date with Alayna. So I was secretly missing her. Finally, I was completely moved into Claire's house. In this new home, Claire has her room, I have mine, and Jasper and Emma have their room. We are all still kinda getting used to living together. on top of stress with school and work, Emma and Jasper are not getting along right now. Emma is going through her defience stage, and Jasper is still kinda new to our little family.

Things are starting to get a little bad in my old home though. Aunt Lucy is keeeping me updated, but i havent had the time to talk to her in a few days. Apparently, Aunt Stella got really sick after having the baby. She has been in and out of the hospital and they dont think she will hold on much longer. So this afternoon, im going to take Jasper to the hospital, while Uncle Marc is at work, so that Aunt Stella can see him, just in case. Right now, im also having very huge emothional issues due to my parents death. Emma was still very, very young when mom and dad died, so Claire and I are the only parent figures she knows. But Claire is not her mom, which i hope so will understand, because i didnt feel that way about her. But on the other hand, I WILL be dad, or maybe not. this is where the issue comes in. i dont know what i should teach her to refer to me as. To her, i am daddy, but then again, im also aidy, her big brother. Hopefully God will show me what to do, and when.

By now, its about two in th afternoon. So i dress Jasper, and then Emma. I put them both in their car seats, and grabbed the diaper bags, and my keys. I opened the door to find Alayna just about to knock.

"Hey." I say quickly.

"Hey." She replied blushing.

"Im so sorry. I dont have time to hang out right now. I have to take Jasper to the hospital to see his....ummm....mother, before i adopted him." I said slow, not remembering if i told her that he was adopted.

Apparently i did because she quickly replied with a smile and a slight sigh.

"Would you like some company?"

"Sure. That would be great." I said with a smile.

She grabbed Emma car seat from my hands, and put her in my car. Once both babies were buckled safely, Alayna and I got into the car. I let out a long sigh, and reved the engine. The ride was pretty quiet. the sound of baby coos was pretty much all that was heard. That is aside from her beautiful smile she continued to throw my way, Alyana was pretty quiet to. I guess you could say i was extremely nervous. Aunt Stella hasnt seen Jasper since they were released from the hospital.

When we got to the hospital, Alayna and I grabbed the diaper bags, and, of course, the babies. they gave us her room, and we were on our way.

When we made it to aunt Stella's room, just as I was about to enter her room, I caught a glimpse of uncle Marc aunt Lucy arguing. I quickly pushed Alayna back and hid around the corner.
"What the heck was that for?!" Alayna raised her voice at me.
"Shhhh!" I said in a loud whisper. "Come on"
We ran past the door and down to the food area, with chairs and the vending machines, and set down the babies.
"I'm sorry you pushing u Alayna-" he began as Alayna stop me.
"It's okay, Aiden, what was that?" She said sweetly and then sounding confused.

" My uncle Marc is back from his trip early, You know the one I told you about." i declared hinting to the life im trying to leave behind. "The big issue is, he didn't know that aunt Stella gave up her baby, or that I adopted him. I don't even think he knows I moved out."

"Well what do you think they were fighting about?" Alayna asked quietly.

"I think uncle Marc was fighting with aunt Lucy About the baby, but he looks like aunt Stella is asleep. " I said.

I peek around the corner, looking down the hallway with aunt Stella's room is. Suddenly uncle Marc stormed out of the room and our way. I hide in the corner behind the snack machine. I stayed as quiet as I could hailing he wouldn't recognize Emma.
He ran past us and out the exit. I looked out the door just as he got into a taxi. I assumed he came right from the airport if he was getting into a taxi.

After a few minutes, Alayna and I grabbed the kids and walked casually to aunt Stella's room.

"Oh my, did you see all that?" Aunt Stella asked with embarrassment.

"Well I saw uncle Marc in here so I hid until I saw him storm out." I said calmly"
Aunt Stella sat up slowly.
"Here he is aunt Stella." I said, taking him out of his seat.
"Hi jasper." She said in a babyish whisper. " Look at you, your getting so big. I bet ur daddy's taking good care of you." She finished, smiling at me.

Aunt Lucy asked to hold him so aunt Stella passed him on.

"Who is ur friend Aiden?" Aunt Stella said looking at Alayna sitting in the chair by the door, next to Emma's seat.

I grabbed her hand and pulled her over towards me.
"Aunt Stella aunt Lucy, and this is my girlfriend Alayna." I said as Alayna smiled.

I took Emma out of her seat. The babies played with all their toys on the floor, we i talked with my aunts for about an hour. Then I made bottles for Emma and Jasper. Aunt Stella fed Jasper, and I fed Emma.

When they both finished their bottles, I put them back on their blanket in the floor to play. we continued to talk as the door swung open once again.

"What the hell is he doing here?!" A familiar voice growled.
