When you open your eyes, you find yourselves in the middle of a street. A car almost hits you, but you grab Serena and jump to the sidewalk.
(y/n): That..was a pretty good first impression.
Serena: Agreed.
You take a quick look at Serena, her face got scratched while you were jumping. You touch her face softly.
(y/n): You okay?
Serena: I'm fine. Why do you care anyway?
(y/n): Dunno. Maybe I don't want my assistant dead before we even start the adventure.
Serena: I'M NOT YOUR ASSIS-
You hush her quickly by covering her mouth with your hand.
(y/n): We don't wanna draw all that attention, you know.
She takes your hand off her mouth and crosses her arms with a scowl.
Serena: Would you please stop touching me?
You just put your hands in your pocket and start walking.
(y/n): What's the plan?
Serena follows you, considers, and smirks.
Serena: Take down as many Xyz losers as possible.
(y/n): Sounds good for now.
(y/n)'s mind: That might actually lead me to what I'm looking for. Plus, I never turned anyone into a card before...
As the time passes, the traffic gets worse.
Serena: How many people live here?
(y/n): A lot, obviously.
And then three little kids grab Serena by the hand.
Serena: What are you doing? Let me go!
One kid with blue hair smiles at her.
Kid: Come on, Yuzu, this isn't the time to hang around with..Wait. Who's that?
Serena: What? Who's Yuzu?
Kid: Don't be silly, Yuzu. You'll miss your Duel and get thrown out of the Maiami Championship.
Serena: The Maiami what? Listen kid, my name's not Yuzu, just leave me alone!
You giggle, but then a big screen turns on, showing a pink-haired girl who kinda looks like Serena.
MC: And the winner of this fantastic Duel is Yuzu Hiragi!
Yuzu winks and the sound of cheering fills the place.
Kid: Wait a sec...That's Yuzu! We're sorry, miss, but you look just like our friend Yuzu. Make sure to see her at the LDS arena, she's awesome!
(y/n): LDS...
The kids leave, and Serena stares at Yuzu on the screen.
Serena: (y/n), do you think of what I'm thinking of?
(y/n): Yeah...
Both: We can find Xyz remnants in that arena.
After many hours of walking in the streets of Maiaimi City.
You and Serena finally reach the arena by sunset. When you enter, you find two dudes Dueling with Xyz monsters on their field. The Duel ends quickly in the favor of the first dude.
(y/n): Lucky. That's two birds with one stone.
Pointing at the two Duelists below you, Serena smiles.
