Heartbreak Hill II

Billie felt horrible for what she did to you. Watching you drive off made her sick to her stomach. It felt like a knife was stabbed into her heart over and over again.

She immediately broke down crying at the door at her loss of you. Maggie came from behind her and hugged her. Asking why she truly did it. Billie didn't know.

If you both stayed together, nothing bad would happen over tour. Billie boarded her tour bus dreading the next coming months of depression. She could already tell what was gonna happen. She knew she had to get you back.

"Mom!" She called from the tour bus doors to her front door. Maggie turned her head with her luggage in her hand. "I need to find her." Billie said calmly walking off the bus in her t-shirt, leggings, and slides.

"Billie it's raining, freezing, and windy. Where do you think she'll be?" Billie looked around her until she spotted the hill a few miles away.

She remembered you talking about that's where you went whenever something made you upset or mad. Billies eyes twinkled in the streetlights.

"She's on the hill." She told Maggie as Maggie scrunched up her face in confusion. "Trust me mom.." Billie began to walk to the hill only 5 minutes from where they were.

Maggie was asking Billie to come back or they'll be late, but she didn't listen.

She started to pick up the pace on the slippery ground. Then she ran. She ran and ran all the way up to the top of the hill.

She dashed past your parked car all the way to where you were sitting. She engulfed you in a hug from behind.

You didn't react in a scared way, your body knew her touch from everywhere. She pulled you into the tightest hug, cradling you as you cried silently into her arms.

"I'm so sorry. Take me back I didn't mean it." Billie said softly in your ear, the sadness so clear in her voice.

And as if when you said yes, the rain stopped.
