Emma's P.O.V
I covered up the purple-bluish bruise that covered my wrist from when my "boyfriend" threw me against the brick wall and pinned me there at school after I tried breaking up with him.

"Ugh. He's such. UGH." I grunted pulling down my long sleeve. I put on a little bit of make up and headed to school.

"Hey babe," Raven walked up to me also known as the jerk that bruises me just about every single day.

I crossed my arms, "Never call me babe. I'm not your girlfriend. Why don't you just leave me alone Raven?"

He smirked looking down at me then wrapped his arm tightly around my neck pulling me closer to his side as he walked to his first class not mine.

"Because you're mine. Only mine, and you can't get rid of me, Emma." He gently rested his lips against my head, "I love you."

I pushed him away "Never ever say you love me because if this is the way you show your love," I rolled up my sleeve and showed him my bruise, "and if you're the reason I have these," I rolled up my other sleeve and showed him my scars and cuts, "Then yeah..I'd hate to be someone you loved." He just rolled his eyes and walked into his classroom.

I rolled my sleeves back down and walked with my head down as I walked to my first class. I was snapped out of thought when I ran into someone, "Sorry." I apologized.

I looked up to see two light hazel eyes, and curly hair. He just looked at me for a second, "Don't be sorry..I'm Ashton." I faked a smile, "I'm Emma," he smirked. "I know a fake smile when I see one, Emma."

I looked back down, "I'll see you later...Emma." He smiled and walked away.

My best friend Taylor, walked up to me. She interlocked arms with me, not touching my wrist "Isn't that the guy that's starting that band...Ooh. What was it called? Oh! 5 Seconds of Summer?" I nodded keeping a tight grin on my face.

She's sort of popular around my school and people like him, well, he's nothing but a reject.

Boring teachers, lame lectures, tired students, you know how this goes. A few classes later was lunch.

I took my lunch and sat with Taylor, the only person I really trust with anything, a few minutes after I sat down I looked up to see two blue eyes glaring down at me. Raven. "Go away." I mumbled.

Taylor didn't know anything that Raven's ever done or how much pain he's caused, but she wasn't listening. She was talking to someone else away from our table.

Raven leaned down really close to my head. I hate him so much. I turned my head, looked him dead in the eye and muttered, "Go away."

He looked angry, if his eyes could change color, they'd be red...and on fire.

He grabbed the wrist with my cuts and tightened his grip, "You can't get rid of me." I bit my lower lip in pain, he knows my cuts and scars are right there.

"Excuse me." I got up and he wrapped his arms around my stomach kissing my neck softly. Again, I pushed him away. "You're a dog. Go find your pack, would you?"

I stormed out of the cafeteria and started my way for the girl's bathroom to check my wrist.

I heard footsteps behind me as I walked. "Raven go-" I turned around to see familiar light hazel eyes staring back at me.

"It's Ashton." He chuckled. I nodded. "Yeah. I know. Sorry." He smiled, "Don't be sorry."

He took a few steps toward me, I took a few steps back, he rose his hands in surrender. "I'm not going to hurt you." He smiled again.
