Chapter 2

I hear a loud knock at the door but my brain still wasn't functioning right now so I let whoever is knocking to continue to knock.

The knocking stops and then I hear my phone ring a second later.

I groan and I grab my phone my from the ground and I answered it.

"Hello?" I tiredly said.

"Girl open the fucking door and stop being lazy." Then the phone hang up. I sigh and lift myself up from my comfy bed and walk towards my door.

As soon I opened the door Jenny comes busting threw the doors excited. Seriously who has this much energy in the morning?

I closed the door and I slowly walked to the kitchen to make me a hot tea. I could hear Jenny blabbering about who knows what while sitting on the stool, next to my island.

"MALARIE are you not listening what to I just said?" She raised her voice slightly. I covered my ears and groaned in response.

"Stop your being to loud, can you just calmly say what you just told me like a few seconds ago?" I whispered loud enough for her to hear me.

"I got promoted at my job, this means I will earn ten times more money than I ever did in my entire life career." She revealed excitedly and I clap quietly for her.

"I'm so proud of you, honesty I know you been struggling to get to that job position and you finally did it after five months of working hard." I gave her a tight hug. Gosh I love this girl right here, she my best friend in the whole world and I don't know what would I do without her.

Jenny works in the fashion industry but when she first started it was difficult for her because she had to start as a intern. She always wanted to design dresses and bring her personality out, for the world to see. so I guess she did what she did best and show how amazing hard worker she is.

"I know and we're celebrating it at the club tomorrow. You, me and Erin, how about that?" She asked excitedly. I gave her a unsure look while pouring the tea in a cup.

"I don't know Jenny.. I'm supposed to be practicing for my modeling. I have a major audition coming up on Monday and I have three days to practice". I mumbled while drinking my tea and she rolled her at me. I hear her sigh at the answer I tell her.

"Come one Malarie it's just one time, and plus do it for me. I want to celebrate with my bestfriend at the big promotion I receive at work today. Please come.." I looked up and I see her doing the little puppy eyes. She always does this to me to convince to do something. Well I guess I'll give in since clubbing is not my scenery at all but for just a day I can do it.

"Okay fine I'll go." I sigh and she screams excitedly and hugs me tight while I'm laughing.

"But mijita yo no voy a tomar liquor, you can but that's the only thing I'm not doing."she agrees. At the end we plan to meet in Erin house to change for the club tomorrow. So right now we're planning to go to the mall to pick out are dresses for the celebration.

Supposedly the club is fancy so basically all the rich and middle class go there. I'm fine with that.

"Come on let's head to the mall already before it turns dark and at night I can't drive for shit" Jenny announce. I grab my purse and phone which cues I am ready to head out.

The drive was around twenty minutes not bad and there was no traffic which was a plus.
We arrived at the mall and we are looking at each store that contains dresses.

"How about this hot pink dress" I see Erin pulled it out from the rack and show me it. It was disgusting and it was too revealing for me. I look at Jenny and she had the same expression about it too.
