After I caught my breath I packed all my stuff. Then hopped in the shower. When I got out I put my Bob Marley shirt,black skinny jeans, with some black Jordans and hair in a puff ponytail since it was wet.
When all of my bags was by the door I went down the hallway to my mother room . I seen 2 stacks of money on top of the nightstand so I got it . I kissed my mother in the forehead. Then went downstairs where my cab was waiting and the lady from the rehab center was here also.
" Are you the young lady that I talk on the phone with"
"Yes I'm she upstairs asleep. Please don't let her leave until she clean. She shouldn't have any visitors expect for my aunt and her name is Candy Miller"
"Okay . I'll have my worker go get her. And make sure she get the best help she needs"
"Thank you so much. Oh can you tell her I love her when she in her right mind"
"Yes I'll do that"
With that I got and the cab and headed to the airport)
(Skip ahead Alexis is now in Los Angeles)
When I tell you that the beaches out her are to die for I ment it . Right now I'm in a hotel until I got to the college that gave me a full scholarship, and ask then if I can start school a little bit early so I can stay in the dorms.
"I think I should take a nice hot bubble bath"
And that what I did . I never felt so free. It like my mind just went blank and all my problems washed away
( The next day )
When I woke up I did everything I needed to do, and left to go see the head principle of my college.
I walked in to see all kinds of fine boys. Like damn , but I'm here to learn. Maybe it be alright to see what they do tho. Lol I'm stupid
When I walk into the dense office it was a India lady with some big hair setting in the chair
"How are you I'm Mrs. Patterson"
"I'm fine I'm Alexis Night"
"Oh yes Alexis from Philly right. I heard great things about you, but we was expecting you until May"
"Yea see that y I'm here. I had some problems at home , and I just wanted to start on working on my degree early"
"Okay. But it look like that all our dorms are full"
"Are you sure"
"Yes I'm sure, but their is one person that have an apartment outside of college. And she is looking for a roommate. Now if you can pay $120 a month then I'm positive that I can get you that room"
"Yes I can pay that much. When can I move in"
" Today she just about done with her last class so I'll just call her in now....Miss Jones please come to the dense office I repeat Miss Jones please come to the dense office."
In 5 minutes a red bone with Brazilian hair and a tattoo on her left arm
"Yo Mrs.P watever stank had Stassy said to you she lied. Okay see we was-"
"That is not way I called you in her for Nicki ,but trust we'll be talking about that. But this is Alexis Night she from Philly and she needs somewhere to stay. I told her that you was looking for a roommate"
"You can $120 a month"
"Yea I can give you it now "
I pulled out a roll of money that I saved up and counted $120 out and handed it to her
"Damn girl where you work at"
"Nicki watch your mouth I will tell your mother when I go to church"
"Man come on don't tell her she cooking Sunday dinner and she not going to make my peach cobbler. And their 2 things I don't play about. My money and my peach cobbler also my man so that 3 things, but for real play with my cobbler and I'm have to take you down Mrs. P"
"Girl get to ass out my office, and go show Alexis where the apartment"
